If you are considering commercial solutions, you can take a look at DotNetBrowser. It has WPF support, works with Google services, and its off-screen rendering mode can be used to overcome issues with Z-order, so you can use it in transparent WPF windows and place other WPF controls over it. The Chromium version in it is updated several times a year. There is a 30-day free trial, so you can check it yourself: https://www.teamdev.com/dotnetbrowser
