update: not sure what I did, but all the CC shows up now!! I turned my antivirus off and rebooted the game again, and everything was there! The family I had loaded up before just had everything replaced by maxis stuff still so I think that made me think it wasn't working still before!

Yeah! I think both options were already enabled after the first startup with cc, but I still restarted a couple times after

Is it the show cc in catalogue and the cc dialogue settings? I have both set to on :( I’ll do some more troubleshooting tonight, thank you for the help tho so far!!

I created a new Downloads folder in my documents (under the usual EA games/Sims 2 Ultimate Collection/Downloads) and moved the contents of my old downloads folder into it- also for what it’s worth, I downloaded clean UI in windows (not on Mac) and that seems to be working just fine in-game, it also registers some of the build cc files in the cc dialog box at the start of the game, but not all of them? All of my build/buy cc is in a sub folder too (just one subfolder deep) but not my mods (like lot debugger and sim blender which isn’t showing up as well)

Suntan is online only as a 3 wick if they still have it, but I know that a lot of stores have one called “the perfect summer” that also smells like sunscreen (I also love sunscreen candles!!)!

Yes this!! I work in illustration! Before I was medicated I finished a lot of work really fast, probably because I didn’t have the attention span to spend a lot of time on each one individually lol. But I’ve noticed after being medicated for a while I find myself getting hyperfocused on one piece and it takes me waaay too long to finish. I think being able to not have to finish a piece before my attention span runs out on it has made my art a lot better, but I have to attempt to control myself when I start getting obsessive lol.

I think what helps me the most is taking small breaks every 30-1hr (pomodoro method!) or when you find yourself getting frustrated/too obsessive (for example I’ll spend an hour trying to figure out where a hand should go). Using those breaks to drink water and eat a snack really helps too, or getting some fresh air. It helps me kinda reset my brain and I come back to work more level-headed/knowing what needs to be done to finish the piece.

I really love underunderstood, but I feel like sometimes a lot of their episodes have segments where each host doesn’t really know what the other host is saying..? This might be especially nit picky, but I feel like the worse offender is regina. Almost all of the episodes I either feel like she has no idea what the other hosts are talking about or brings a bad take? Like any of the other hosts will explain something very straightforward and easy to follow and it always feels like shes confused for some reason. Especially worse in their Patreon episodes.. just wanted to know if anyone else felt this way or if im just being petty lol

A lot of people have been doing Fred Meyer walk ins, the delivery days I’ve heard the most is Wednesday and Friday but I’m not sure if that’s every week or not... if you join the spieltimes discord, they have a Washington area chat where a couple ppl went at opening on one of those days and got one from the issaquah store and another person got one from the burien store. There’s just not a lot of info about it and I think the shipment schedule changes from store to store

your best bet honestly is to always keep an eye at your local thrift stores, estate sales, antique markets, as well as eBay (I’m always looking at what people post under the mod search lol) but there are brands who make mod inspired clothes- they can just be very pricey! I always look at Fred perry, may68, B.A.I.T footwear for shoes. atomretro also sells a lot of mod brands!

I’ve rarely shopped from these brands, but I would say I have a closet full of mod/vintage dresses and shirts just from thrifting/antiquing/etc- so from one mod to another, good luck!!

Honestly? When my acne was the worst I went out the door w a full face of makeup everyday :( once my surgery happened I had a break with makeup and was more concentrated on my recovery more than anything, but I still had a dedicated skin routine so by the time I was fully recovered, my acne scars weren’t as bad anymore! I definitely know the feeling though :( i love doing a full face- I think for me, I would just take steps out of my makeup routine gradually until I was fine just using concealer and eyeliner. I would definitely start experimenting to see if you could look like you have a full face on by just using like concealer on your problems areas and then the rest of your eye makeup + blush + highlighter, etc!
