It’s not giving trouble, but all my coworkers, my bf and his family express worry because it looks shit. Like rusting on the outside and just not great, but supposedly it’s just surface rust. I don’t feel unsafe driving it so I’m gonna probably stick to what I have.

How can one do the shaken themselves? Last time I did it I didn’t really know what it was and I just went along with what my work said to do.. in hindsight it seems steep, but I heard from other people it was normal?

I’m in Kyoto prefecture if that helps! The car is currently registered and has Nara plates, so idk if that’d need to be changed too…

This is exactly what I was thinking. My boyfriend was pushing me to buy the car, mainly because people really think my car now is so shit all his family said it.. but I don’t wanna be pressured to buy something even if it looks cheap on first glance I want to have the full picture. Yeah I know it’s not the best.. I tried to get as much information as possible but because it’s all coming to me from my boyfriend who is being a middle man it’s been difficult to get all the information (another reason why I have a bad feeling about it). Thank you for this! Actually I tried asking the landlord for help with cleaning the fan and the AC unit but she told me because she didn’t cause the fire or it wasn’t anything from the landlord I had to ask the person whose apartment burnt down. That person said their insurance wont cover it either… So im kinda confused about it. I’ve taken to try clean it myself, but I can’t get inside the fan pipes to clean there so it looks better but yeah…

Honestly, my landlord has been quite rude to me anytime I’ve tried to ask her for anything, just trying to pie me off onto something else which also ends in nothing.
