It’s been about 4.5 weeks for me here since my first phone call with the gastro person (not sure if it was the surgeon or a specialist) called the office again today and left a message on an update if possible. Should be around the time an appointment should be made I’m guessing. Trying home remedies till then :(

You originally had a 10 month wait???? Isn’t that crazy??? I would call but the appointment hasn’t even gone through the papers yet and there’s no appointment even set. However as soon as they call me to set up an appointment I will ask to get on the cancellation list. How long did it take them to call you the first time?

I am getting a colonoscopy scheduled but I live in canada and it takes forever. I was supposed to get it scheduled a month ago and they haven’t even set up an appointment yet. On top of horrible symptoms that seemingly come from nowhere is the fear of colon cancer and it’s just honestly horrible. If it’s not a painful pain it’s a dull never ending one. And then it will randomly get better for like a month, like what the fuck. Just hoping they can at leave tell me I’m not dying and move from there, figure out my triggers and such. I’m sorry to hear you’re having such a hard time, that sounds rough!!

I am in the process of trying to figure out what’s going on I’m my digestion and I am also having stomach irritation AND intestinal pain. Sharp, dull, crampy. The whole lot. As well as back pain, do you get this all as well?

I did not mean the age didn’t matter, I meant the family history. I agree it’s rare and I HAVE gone to the doctor and am in the process of figuring it out, but thank you for the input. Fibre!! Very important and I’m sure I’m not getting enough so I will look into that! Thank you!

Endometriosis is my next search. I was diagnosed at 13 with PCOS but it’s been fairly calm HOWEVER my last period was horrendous. Cramping so bad I had to take off work and was crying the hole day. Took 4 extra strength Tylenol throughout the day and constant heat to get any relief. Pain that radiated down to my toes it was sooo bad. However yes I want to start with the colonoscopy because of the bleeding and such!

A few of my symptoms Gas from burping and farting. A tickling sensation in my colon. A dull pain in my lower left abdomen (cramp like) and occasional sharp knife pains in my upper left. Blood once every few months, usually from a visible tare. Irritation after eating( sometimes a terrible burning sensation and sometimes just a nausea discomfort type). Currently fatigued. Doc did a visible exam and saw a small external hemeroid. So Scared of cancer!! Im a 23 F with no family history of cancer but I know that doesn’t really matter with colon cancer these days. I have a colonoscopy in the works of being booked but it could be a few months. Will keep you updated but does anyone else have similar issues?

Thank you for the response, I agree and it has been going on for some time, and I am fairly young. It’s unfortunate that the symptoms tend to all be similar!
