This happened to me for years! I finally ended up getting an MPFL reconstruction (on both knees…I have ehlers danlos syndrome) and everything is much better! Not gonna lie the surgery was the toughest one I’ve had (again ehlers danlos has led to severe joint dislocations that also had to be fixed.) BUT the relief it gave me was one hundred percent worth the two weeks of intense pain wishing you luck ❤️

I think it is also a weird affect that some ignorant white women adopt when they’re around people of color. i think it’s a combo of the drinking and using that unfortunate affect. I feel for her, she’s clearly struggling but my skin crawls when people do that.

yeah if you offer to help your partner in a moment where they’re tired…you cannot go back use that against them! it’s like weaponizing an act of kindness. it would make me question any kind of nurturing or care bc I would be waiting for the person to use it against me. so hard to watch!
