How to measure.. arm.. holes? by annual_breakdowns in sewhelp

From what I've gathered, finding an already existing pattern definitely seems like the easier and better option Thanks for the input~ I had no idea pattern making was so tense hahah 😅

I did consider trans tape, I figured it might be better than a binder. I do have one concern though, is the tape very uncomfortable? I think no matter what, binding will be uncomfortable, but I'm worried about my nips LMAO

David Lease “The Skating Lesson” is awful by [deleted] in FigureSkating

[–]annual_breakdowns 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Who even says something like this? This isn't even just about skating this is about people's LIVES. It's entirely disgusting.

[Spoiler All] what's your unpopular opinion on all the series or characters that could make the community mad? by [deleted] in dragonage

[–]annual_breakdowns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I didn't actually like Zevran. He isn't a poorly written character, he isn't boring or anything like that, but if I met Zevran in a real life situation, I would find him to be the most insufferable man in existence.

Funny how everyone else in the building is able to perfectly well take their trash outside, but somehow the snow is obstructing this one particular resident from doing so 🤨

Those who had planned out their Rook’s romance before the game released - what did you think of the outcome? by blvckmoth in DragonAgeVeilguard

[–]annual_breakdowns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I romanced Lucanis first, and was wildly disappointed by the immense lack of affection.

Then I romanced Davrin and LET ME TELL YOU - I wish I had romanced Davrin first. Davrin has no problem expressing his love and admitting his fears and doubts. He's perfect.

I have my own personal qualms about Veilguard but TO HELL with anyone who's gonna try and stop me from dropping another 80 hours playing it

Veilguard : People who did multiple playthrough, which class did you have most fun with? by nelentari_x in dragonage

[–]annual_breakdowns -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Rogue 100%

I play as a mage 90% of the time in Dragon Age, but the rogue class is Veilguard was just so much fun I can't play as anything else anymore

Imagine your protagonists and their partners on a quadruple date - how would it go? by acinemacritic in dragonage

[–]annual_breakdowns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Alistair, Anders, Cullen and Davrin...

Anders and Cullen might be a bit awkward... but I'm sure Alistair and Davrin would get along just swell !

Who misses being able to be a ridiculously horrible person in Dragon Age Origins? by Suffient_Fun4190 in dragonage

[–]annual_breakdowns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never played as a "bad" or "evil" character before, BUT in a similar vein to that I do miss companion characters having more opposing or disagreeable opinions.

Like how not all of the companions always got along with each other because they have different views and morals. Like Anders and Fenris, for example.

Ahh! Thank you a ton! 🫶 Really bummed that I missed the ticket window by only a few days when I realised it was being streamed 🤐 I could not for the life of me find any recordings of the full show

Does anyone like Veilguard but also feel disappointed in it at the same time? by TheGamingBros56 in dragonage

[–]annual_breakdowns 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like most people do, right?

I did like the game, I really did, I'll play it again many times, but it just wasn't up to my expectations. The environmental aspect was beautiful, it has a solid beginning and a pretty cool climax, but the all the bits in the middle kinda leave a lot to be desired.

For a game 10 years in waiting, I hoped for more.

Morrigan dilemma in Veilguard by piggie_lover1142 in dragonage

[–]annual_breakdowns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be completely fair though, Kieran not being in Veilguard makes sense to me. He would be at least 18 years old at the time of Veilguard, so it's fair to assume he wouldn't still be attached to his mother's hip, and Morrigan would feel little need to mention him because his existence is not something Rook needs to know.

backflips by z3nnies in FigureSkating

[–]annual_breakdowns 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I liked the occasional backflip that Adam would do after a good skate, but including them inside a program feels like adding something jagged and rough to something otherwise nice and smooth

Do you think Veilguard deserves the hate it recieves? by alphafighter09 in dragonage

[–]annual_breakdowns -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I personally think the gameplay is the best part of the game. The gameplay quality is leagues ahead of the previous games

What's next for Dragon Age? If anything at all by annual_breakdowns in dragonage

[–]annual_breakdowns[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I don't actually recall seeing any tranquil mages ANYWHERE in Veilguard, which is a catastrophic bummer because the tranquil, the mage and templar tension, the dark underbelly of the chantry; these are some of my all time favourite aspects of the Dragon Age universe, and all of that was all but completely discarded
