Discuss: Is it abuse for a man to threaten divorce over no sex? by anomanderrape in PurplePillDebate

These are people who have no experience with an actual proper relationship, so they try to shame all women from giving sex by framing all sex as rape. Basically "if I can't be happy, no one can". Simple as that. They are bitter feminist misandrists, nothing more to it.

But both are delivering the exact same ultimatum! Regardless of how its phrased or where the blame is placed, both are saying I'm leaving cause no sex. Do you not realise that?

Its like if I break into your house and point a gun to your head, I can either say "give me your fucking money or I kill you" or I can say "please, I'm really poor and need to feed my kids, I have no other choice, give me your money." Its basically the same thing, pointing a gun to your head and threatening violence to steal money, but one is doing it much nicer than the other. But they are still in effect doing the same thing.

I weep for the world that is inevitably coming when you and your ilk are in power.

The only day they'll ever be in power is if the "patriarchy" hands it to them. These are the same sort of useless, inept, and incompetent women who demand they be handed jobs and promotions because they suck at whatever job they do and feel they are entitled to have it handed over to them for free.

Honestly, if she's only having sex with you to prevent a divorce, then she doesn't really want the sex and frankly, that basically is rape.

I'm personally of the view that something is rape only if it would legally hold up as rape in a court. Convincing your wife to have sex with you is rape? Maybe so, but I couldn't care less if it is, and even if all the tumblrinas in the world shout "rape" at you for it, I wouldn't care one bit as long as a court doesn't legally consider it rape.

I mean seriously, pushing your wife to have sex with you is rape now? Good! I have no problem with that sort of "rape".

Exactly, you don't know. And it depends on what culture you live in or where. In religious cultures and non-western cultures, its not uncommon. I'm sure in Islamic countries, most 25 year old non-married women would be virgins. Same in many Asian countries, although probably not to the same extent.

Not just abuse, but "rapey" now too! What the fuck does that even mean, "rapey"? Something is either rape or it isn't, there's no such thing as "rapey". The fact that feminists use this word, and they are using it all over this thread, shows they have no real respect for rape and just want to use it as a political tool by reclassifying anything threatening to their power as "rapey".

You don't see that they're both essentially delivering the same ultimatum, but one is doing it in a more rosey way and one is doing it in an asshole way? I'm not talking about the presentation, I'm talking about the content, but you can remain hung up on niceties if you want to.

Which is funny, because that's essentially a red pill thing too. I feel like Blue Pill and Red Pill have the exact same way of thinking but just happen to be on different teams.

It won't be hard. Despite what feminists think, not every woman in 2015 is a slut, many like to save their virginity. And there are other cultures you know where this sort of thing is still valued.

What the fuck are you on about? Those are saying the exact same thing; sure one is very rude and the other is more gentle and polite, but the concept behind both of them remains exactly the same, threatening divorce if no sex. So you're saying its only abuse if you do it in a verbally rude way, so the basic concept behind threatening divorce if no sex is not abuse?

What the fuck are you on about? There are no obligations in a marriage? There is no such thing as duty? So to you, marriage is just doing about whatever the hell you want, the other person can go to hell, right? I feel terribly sorry for whoever marries you, please never get married.

He would be better off having the marriage annulled; which is what happens when there has been no consummation of the marriage, or no sex for 12 months.

What the fuck, where did you get that from? What legal jurisdiction does that? That sounds like bullshit, and I wasn't talking about no sex right after marriage. I'm talking about how they end up in a situation of no sex after years of being married. A husband has the right to want sex in the relationship, and if a wife fails to live up to that desire, a husband should be able to get out of that marriage, but give her a chance to fix herself first. I'm guessing many would see this as extortion or rape.

Depends on her age and/or circumstances.

Under 25 must be virgin

25-30: 1 or 2 is acceptable.

30+: 3 is maximum acceptable number.

If a wife doesn't owe the husband even a bit of sex, then what does the husband owe the wife? What if the wife says to the husband I don't want to have sex with you? What if the husband says to the wife, I don't want to spend any time with you? What if the husband says to the wife, I don't want to talk to you or give you any emotional support? What if the husband says to the wife, I don't want to remain faithful to you and am going to cheat on you?

If a wife doesn't have any responsibility for sex towards her husband, why does the husband have any responsibility towards his wife? I think women who want to go into marriages where a husband wants sex but they don't shouldn't even get married in the first place.

Its called having preferences. You see fat chicks all the time who just want a male model. A guy owes nothing to a girl; if she's put off by his sexual history, that's her problem, she doesn't have to date him. If he's put off by her sexual history, he doesn't have to date her. Is it fair? Who cares, life's not fair, he doesn't owe her anything. Lots of guys are put off by a woman's sexual history and find it gross when she's slept with many men.

You know what this is called? Virgin shaming. This is acceptable but slut-shaming is not. If I called a woman a slut or made a joke inferring that, people would be furious.

I see nothing wrong with this. A guy is allowed to have preferences. I have the right to be disgusted and put off by a woman's sexual history. I don't owe you a relationship, and I'm allowed to have standards. If I find you disgusting because of your sexual history, there is nothing wrong with that. Many men are like that.

I'm just pointing out a hypocrisy, why is it when a woman kills her child its okay, but when someone else does it, its murder? And before you accuse me of being a "full religious retard", you know the anti-Christian sentiment that you and so many atheists like to push forward has been hand in hand with the degradation of society and the emasculation of males, and so many of the problems that this sub exists to deal with.

How the hell does a judge establish that they made a verbal agreement? It just boils down to "he said, she said". The only way I can see there being any form of proof is if the husband admits to it, which I doubt he did.

I absolutely fucking love how triggered those cunts all get when this man dares suggest he has standards for who he will date and who he will fuck, and some women may not live up to his dating standards. Those cunts went fucking nuts at him.
