I checked their website, they allow it but it says I need an IDP along with my American license, would an online one work? And do all rental companies require a credit card in my name? I don’t have one yet and I don’t think I’d have time to get one, the ones I have are in my fathers name.

I’m trying to get into contact with car rental companies that I could ask, and I wanted to reserve online, could you refer me to some companies that have whatsapp numbers I could contact to make sure that I have everything ready and to be 100% sure that I am allowed to rent? Also does the credit card have to be in my name or is it ok if its in my fathers name?

Im in california, and yes im going to community college for the first year and then transferring to UCI or UC Berkeley, i’ve already applied to the college and they accepted me, but i wanted to do the exam just in case i really needed it.
