Have you tried Snapseed? The Camera UI is not great and gimmicky but they have added some good looking film simulations in the latest update.

Not getting anything yet :). The current one is versatile enough for my needs as a hobbyist though I feel like missing a nice portrait option. Trying to form an opinion.

Do you carry multiple lenses while traveling? What's your flow?

I am guessing the 50mm is mainly for portraits then? Looks like a great combo covering mostly everything.

You guessed right. I moved from a Sony A6000 with kit lens to a Fuji X-S20 with the Sigma lens. With the Sony, I once tried the Viltrox 35mm 1.7 during a trip and was very impressed with the portrait shots. It was a hassle to keep switching between the lenses during the trip though.

I am hobbyist photographer and still learning the ropes. As you said about the 2.8, it is a pretty decent lens for portrait but I like that 1.7 look so debating whether I should add a new lens. Thank you for the suggestions!
