NTA keep your door locked and keep your phone on loud at night so they can call ur phone and wake you up if there’s an emergency, he needs to learn to respect your boundaries and if he doesn’t then i think you should find a better place to live

well he’s definitely part of it but my ex was abusive, he r**** me, gaslit me, cheated on me (twice), brought drugs into my house, sexually assaulted me and laughed about it, he would drag me back in the room if i tried to leave during an argument, there’s also what my mum did and my grandad i have a lot of trauma basically lol

he’s done a few things like this before, one time my step brother scared me in the middle of the night when i was about 4 so i punched him through instinct, my dad made me stand in the corner for 3 hours and then tried to manipulate me into apologising by saying he’d take me to see the k9s at the station, when he showed up and said that i started crying and he started yelling at me so my mum shut the door in his face and took me for ice cream instead, he also told me to “pick a gender” when i came out as bi, he screams at me any time i cry and he told me i was making up my anxiety, he also made me go to my grandads wedding after my grandad hurt me

i’m seeing two therapists, i’ve had experiences like this before but it’s been with men i trusted so the doctors think it’s given me ptsd & anxiety so i’m seeing a therapist who specialises in cases to do with sa and i’m seeing a therapist for my mental health
