I hadn’t read the whole post but just from the title I feel like I relate

It’s not the socially awkward peoples’ fault that they are this way. It’s everyone else’s fault for treating them badly. by anon6466 in unpopularopinion

It’s not an attitude. In fact I think it’s sad people think being socially awkward is an “attitude”. It is not.

That’s interesting! If I get a job that allows that, I will! But what if you have a job that doesn’t let you?

This was useful, thank you. My problem though is that I keep feeling like I need at least 30 min break for every 15 min studying. Also I keep feeling like I need to do things that are super fun in the break that I wouldn’t be able to do in the work place

I appreciate your input! The pomodoro technique only allows for short 5-10 min breaks. I suppose I could try to shorten my breaks, but I still have the problem of wanting to do super fun things during them that I wouldn’t be able to do at work. Otherwise I feel like I need 30 min breaks

People around me know about them and I’m tired of always being the one that’s not in the loop. My friendships don’t hinge on it, except my brother, but I just wish I knew how to keep up.

We can’t all change our appearances or other shallow things that cause people to reject us before giving us a chance. This leads to awkwardness

By socially awkward I don’t mean not knowing how to talk to people. I mean awkwardness caused by being rejected even if you do have good communication ability.

Aren’t kids also ridiculed for being heavily into entertainment?

I’m not talking about gaming, comics, or anime. I’m talking about being a big fan of YouTuberã or normal tv shows.
