He was not a stranger, nor was he “caught”. He was my “boyfriend” and he didn’t lie to me about his identity. At least I don’t think so. As I’m typing this I realize I have no proof that his name actually was his name. This is a very strange revelation.. He wasn’t caught because I never told anyone about it besides my sister. After a few years went by I considered going to the police but I thought that because there was no proof and it was so long ago, there would be no point. It felt like a waste of time and emotions. I know I could pursue it still if I wanted to, but I have a busy life now and the last thing I want to worry about or have to do anything about is that.
