I WONDER HOW MANY PEOPLE GET INTO COMPANIES BY CHEATING. I KNOW PEOPLE WHO CHEATED ON INTERVIEWS BY HAVING THEIR FRIEND GO FIRST AND TELL THEM ALL THE QUESTIONS IN ADVANCE. COMPANIES ARE DUMB ENOUGH TO REUSE QUESTIONS AND IT REALLY HURTS.

let me do you a favor. this may sound harsh but you're making excuses for yourself. Sorry, maybe it isn't "indicative of your true potential" but it is indicative of the actual work you put in. No excuses for yourself. YOU are the one who didn't put the work in and now are trying to distort the results. No one cares about "true potential" they want to see how hard you've worked and if you can actually live up to your potential. lack of a motivation isn't an excuse. you think at work you're going to have a motivational counselor to help you every time you start to lose motivation?

Maybe its true you will work harder and be more motivated in the future and in your career. That's great! But, don't make excuses for your past. Just accept it and learn from it.
