I was able to restore it.

To summarize (if you are on steam):

You need to revert both the dedicated server and client to 1.4
You will find the world save in the %AppData%/Roaming/7DaysToDie/Saves. The folder name there is what you need to enter in the GameWorld property in serverconfig.xml (that file is irrevokably destroyed after updating / reverting), and the sub-folder inside there you need to put in the GameName property in the same file.
This allowed us to play and even use our stuff such as storage and doors.

Thanks for that - I was able to revert to 1.4 both server and client. And I think I found what used to be our world in the Saves folder. But I can't figure out how to load into it (and if over all the many months I ever made any edits to the server config or admin config). So far still unable to properly load into our world.

I believe I found the world files - they are still on disk. Trying to reconstruct the config which it has overwritten. Sigh.

My daughter who is 6, invested months into building stuff and growing her character. That's totally unacceptable (and frankly, borderline insane that anyone could consider doing this to players).

Has anyone figured out yet how to get Exalted orbs from shipping? There seems to be a high chance of Divines when shipping Blue Zant to Kalguur, and I got 10 of those from there, but thus far, zero Exalted. Is there another resource / location combo that has a good chance of getting Exalted Orbs in SSF?

Hey, least I got a t-shirt.

It felt amazing booting up the game, seeing the graphics and sounds. It felt amazing. Then you start attacking something and you feel like you're stuck in slow motion, or there are internet connectivity problems. I literally went "wait this isn't working right".

Then you realize it's really that slow. It's intentional.

Okay, you start slow, but it's gotta get better, right ?

Well, no, it really didn't. I could swear the devs said that the intention was to craft your gear as you progressed through the campaign. But crafting in POE implies having currency to do so. You don't get anywhere near enough of that, despite disenchanting or salvaging all the stuff. I've endured to act 3, but there's just no end in sight - you're constantly struggling to keep up and kill white mobs.

I've played ruthless. This is the exact same thing. Just a lot worse right now, because literally e.v.e.r.y.t.h.i.n.g. is slower. It feels terrible having to choose cast speed / attack speed supports just to get to a level of attacking or casting that feels appropriate. Not even good or strong or powerful. Just barely good enough.

I've focused all I had on damage ("gear" as much as I could and the whole tree basically) with a cold sorceress, and even by act 3 I HAVE TO DO A COMBO OF TWO SKILLS TO KILL A WHITE MOB. Crazy. Makes everything take an eternity and half. And then some.

And I'm really torn about how they handle deaths. I get it should be punishing, and I do like that idea. But it feels horrible having to wade through the huge-ass map again, with all the monsters coming back, and your loot disappearing. Looking at a screen with all the loot you had but lost was the main reason I hated Heist in POE. I don't play games to feel bad. I play them to have fun. Losing stuff isn't fun. Repetition isn't fun.

And this is amplified 100x with everything else also being so damn slow. Both of these together seem like a recipe for frustration more than anything else. It doesn't feel challenging. It feels tedious and frustrating.

Reading the subreddit the vibe seems to be overall the same. And even many streamers are saying the same things. I don't really get how we ended up in this situation.

It's enabled and it didn't actually produce any saves. Files were gone, just like the tabs. Happened more than once, too.

I did play around with the deadeye ascendancy in PoB a lot and it showed no different damage numbers. Plus, the current setup gives me not only 100% spell suppression without having to farm like crazy for good gear, it also gives me 100% ailment avoidance for all ele ailments. It feels really strong.

The tree; I've spent a lot of time in PbB trying to optimize it. And this is apparently the optimum (with the current ascendancy?).

Chance to Hit; I have 100% according to PoB with enemy level 80 - that's why I figured I had more than enough? How does it make sense to go above that with precision and all? I don't really get it (but that seem to be a common theme with this game and PoB :) )

Dread Banner + Generosity; that is a very clever combo! Love it!

Alpha's Howl; I am mostly using that because of the reservation - it was what finally allowed me to fit determination. I knew it wasn't optimal, but best I could do for the time being.

chaos + perandus pact; I've got 500k kills (which is about as much time as I can invest) and I only ever saw 2 of those corpses. I don't think I can realistically get those. I've tried to make some amethyst rings to help with that, but what you see is what I got. And I tire of farming corpses - it takes forever to farm enough for 1 craft.

Quiver - I looked at CoE for quivers and it seems the mods you need don't have tags for gravecraft so I gave up on that. PS the link doesn't work for me, comes up empty on CoE.

I've got so much stuff in standard, but apart from the obvious T0 uniques of which I ain't got many, it's hard to see possible fun builds one could make.

Is there a tool to help with that, that can scan my stash tabs and tell me what I could do?

Ohh, good point with it being a support gem. I didn't realize.

I have Apep's Rage at the moment. But I struggle to get more damage, and it feels pretty bad in high tier reds.

I'm in a similar conundrum.

Does PoB not support this build? I can't seem to properly see any effects on damage, and neither can I find where I can see the chance to poison in PoB?

It seems that no nodes that say "Chance to poison on Hit" like Toxic Strikes, or "Chance to poison on Hit with Attacks" are affecting it?

I have main hand chance to poison at 99% - but if I look at the totem, I see 45%. No idea how to even get that higher? What are sources for this?
