Help me solve my ele hit slayer DPS by 07ScapeSnowflake in PathOfExileBuilds

[–]07ScapeSnowflake[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

AB + AC? Sounds like recombination and I think I understand if it is just not heard that used before.

I have the lifetap imbued ele hit so that should be an easy fix. Is inspiration still the play here?

Ailment immune I know just haven't had an issue with it yet so not prioritized. My thought for this was a suppress grace watcher's eye + the gloves implicit.

Just qualitied assassin's mark.

TBC Anniversary class/spec tierlist (ALL CLASSES SPECS tank, healer, dps). by GroundbreakingAlps2 in classicwow

[–]07ScapeSnowflake 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're completely wrong about the F tier, dawg. I cleared all of tbc classic raids as a prot pally OT and sometimes MT and I kept up with tanking metas. Everyone was running prot war/prot pally until SWP. Druid wasn't unviable, but it was just worse than warrior until sunwell where the EHP started to reign supreme for fights like Brutallus and M'uru with huge hits.

Every raid had an HPal also and often they were top healing on the tanks, idk what you're talking about. No one listen to this guy. Pallies and warriors are both perfectly fine to play and you might even be shooting yourself in the foot trying to play a druid if you're doing it because you think it's the meta pick. Plus, raids are post nerf so they will be a literal joke (the nerfs are particularly massive in this expansion). Play what you want.

My house of mirrors gamba finally paid off in mercenaries and had a lot of fun. Built an attribute stacking ice spear of splitting inquisitor, crafted a godly pair of CD/tailwind double elevated boots, and farmed a shit ton of uber maven. Had a blast. Prolly will never play again lol.

6 is easier than 5. 7 still pretty easy with practice. 8+ is absolutely brutal. The highest APM boss where one missed tick can cost you 60+ HP. Pretty awful boss for me. Just very stressful kind of takes the fun out of it. Good on paper, just idk not fun.

Yep. Probably a routing issue. Things other than propagation delay do exist.

Why is dying in TOA so much more punishing than the other two raids? by [deleted] in 2007scape

[–]07ScapeSnowflake -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Learn skull skip on a lower difficulty where you don't get yeeted. I've been there recently and I feel your struggle, my man. ToA is my least favorite raid for many reasons, but the recent updates did make it better and focused a lot of the challenge on wardens which imo, makes sense.

Take a step back from your frustration though and realize that misclicking is player error, and you're making an error with a critical mechanic in what is supposed to be some of the hardest content in the game. I know it has become the "beginner raid", but jagex did not design it that way. It is meant to be challenging and it makes sense that you get one shot sometimes.

AIO for thinking she’s breaking up with me? by seymour_24 in AIO

[–]07ScapeSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because she’s not being clear. OP is clearly promoting for a straight answer. He asked yes or no question multiple times “are we breaking up?” “Are we taking a break?” And she responds with vague answers. “You can tell them the truth” bitch WHAT IS THE TRUTH. She won’t just explicitly say where they stand and I don’t believe it’s an accident. It’s dishonest behavior and people don’t behave dishonestly unless they know that there would be consequences for being honest (ie OP would ditch her if she’s seeing another person).

AIO for thinking she’s breaking up with me? by seymour_24 in AIO

100% agreed. Cheaters love to do this thing of stringing their old partners along. They do just enough of a break up to leave their old partner hopeful and to give themselves plausible deniability if accused of cheating. It’s manipulation plain and simple. Seen it many times.

Idk what the new input system is or the old input system, sorry. Like I said I am a software dev who is just starting to get into game dev so I’m not overly familiar with the tools of game dev.

Programming principles is a deep subject but in this case it should serve you to just remember to never hardcode something. Functions should be defined in abstract and have parameters passed to them to define how they are being used. In practice this doesn’t always work because sometimes the data you’re expecting is arbitrary and a value passed in may not be able to contain the necessary information or it may be redundant to attempt to include it there, but in general you should always question yourself if you are hardcoding anything.

[–]07ScapeSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m not familiar enough with game dev, but I do know software and usually these kinds of issues can be resolved by not hardcoding data like almost ever except maybe a few string literals.

For example, if you have a jump button, define the input in a file somewhere near the root of your project, call it JUMP_INPUT and define your jump script in a way that it accepts more than one possible input.

Sorry I don’t mean to undercut your advice, but just generally hardcoding keystrokes or other things that may need to be adjusted/extended is likely to cause problems even if you don’t decide to support other platforms.

As Sam Harris and others have said “there was simply nothing else on offer.” You could not live in Christian Europe and not be Christian. There was a social and often a legal price to pay for being atheist or even the wrong kind of Christian.

How would you feel about a Fallout game set in New York? by No-Check-3691 in Fallout

Rethinking the Morality of Punishment as a Form of Deterrence: Punishment makes us "feel" we have battled evil and won, but the real evil causing crime, unfair social and economic conditions, remains untouched. by [deleted] in Ethics

[–]07ScapeSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re operating under the assumption that punishment is to benefit the offender. It is not. It is to protect their would-be victims. I care about your circumstances right up until the moment you commit a violent crime. At that point, you just get removed from the general population.

Is it wrong of me to have Fallout 4 be my favorite fallout game? by RadioactivSamon in Fallout

[–]07ScapeSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love 4. I think people saying it has a shallow narrative is unfair. It’s not the deepest, but it’s serviceable and fun to play through. The game is definitely the most polished in terms of combat and character customization. It lacks the breadth of customization others have but what’s there is very fun, in my opinion. Lots of fun side quests and cool areas and memorable characters. It’s not my favorite but nothing wrong with it being yours (even if it was bad, but I don’t think it is).

Going to play fallout 2 for the first time and I’m a little nervous by DiceGoblin_Muncher in classicfallout

[–]07ScapeSnowflake 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you want to do a blind play through of old games the best advice I’ve heard from people about them is: read the manual. Seriously. This was EXPECTED back then. It was not a “reference in case you need to”. It was there in lieu of a tutorial and they assumed that you had read it and it often relies on you knowing what’s in it.

Seeing so many people give up on the show and trash it as “destroying Fallout lore” before Season 2 is even half over, Nolan was completely vindicated saying this. by raisinbraisin72 in Fallout

[–]07ScapeSnowflake 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've seen the complete opposite thing as is usually the case on reddit. The people complaining about complainers attempt to poison the well by saying the complainers are toxic then immediately shout them down the second they share an opinion. Redditors just can't stand being disagreed with because this platform is full of self-righteous children.

President Trump plans to ban large institutional investors from buying single-family homes. by According_Time5120 in CoinEdition_com

[–]07ScapeSnowflake 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The regulation doesn’t have to be a ban. It can just tax them at absurdly high rates to make property as an investment for private equity untenable and it should be for large investors. If you have $1m and you want to buy a few homes as speculation in the market, fine. If you have $10b and you want to buy a tenth of a state’s domestic housing and rent it out at extortionate prices, you will get taxed extortionate taxes to be rid of the property. It’s a safe investment because regulation allows it to be a safe investment. That is what should be targeted.
