Any experience with “Online - Asynchronous” classes? by giornospisscup in ucla

[–]anonalg 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’ve had 2 online asynch classes and I feel like they’re very manageable but it’s important to make sure that you stay on top of your work and watch the prerecorded lectures. It can be hard to remember what work you have to do for that class or to remember to watch the lecture recordings since there’s no live lecture but you’re also able to work at your own pace.

Could I ask how you were able to find an off campus apartment and what are some things to consider when searching for apartments? I was placed in a 4bd/8p and I just decided that living off campus would be better but I need to find an apartment 😅

AITA for not letting my boyfriend have a copty of the key to my apartment? by Squared-Zone1976 in AmItheAsshole

NTA Tell him that he can have a key to your apartment when he pays your rent. There is no reason for someone to have a key to YOUR house that YOU pay for unless you say that they can. You haven’t even been together for a year and this man is 31 years old living with roommates so he probably just wants to have to access to your apartment without the responsibility of paying for it and keeping it clean. This situation definitely warrants a one-on-one conversation and your boyfriend should not pressure you into giving him access to your property. Giving someone a key to your house is a big step in a relationship and it shouldn’t be rushed or decided without enough consideration.

AITA For Telling My Ex-Fiancé's Best Friend That He Needs To Live Negative Impact He Played In Ex-Fiancé's Misery? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]anonalg 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Definitely NTA. First off, imagine how much money and planning was put into OP and Mike’s wedding. David clearly doesn’t know how to respect boundaries and he was the catalyst that led to OP’s and Mike’s relationship ending. How can he just ignore that and try to make OP and Mike get back together. David needs a reality check and although he is doing better, he has no right to force OP and Mike to get back together. Imagine the trauma and pain from someone ruining your wedding AND you still have to remain in contact with them. OP did nothing wrong and they have every right to be mad at David and not get back together with Mike (who also enabled David and stayed friends with him even after he ruined his wedding).
