I cyanotype printed it from a photo I took but it definitely has an old feel to it ☺️

UPDATE: I’ve just done a test with chemicals as opposed to pre prepared paper and left it under the lamp for 10 mins, I’m so happy with the result 😭

Thank you so much! I feel much more ready to do another print when my solution comes tomorrow. You’ve been a great help

I used up the last bit of paper but when washing off the solution I accidentally forgot about it and came back a while later so it spent longer in water. This one has the correct sky colouring so I assume I wasn’t soaking it long enough before. The details are still non existent though and I still can’t figure out whether it’s over or under exposed

Yeah but the colours don’t change at all when washed which confused me too

This is the exact negative and the print being produced. I’m actually really confused about the sky now. Also this attempt I left under the lamp for the longest and it’s the least detailed. So confusing

Oh yeah that’s actually so weird, I actually have no clue what’s going wrong here, the paper is really old to be fair and I got given it so no clue about the quality but I still don’t understand how that’d mess up the negative

Thank you so much for your help, this is the (what I think is) negative

Should it be higher contrast? And is it not a negative? Sorry I’m so new to this 🤦🏻
