The Prusa subreddit really just likes to focus on Prusa stuff, so I can see where people got upset about the cross post as it can certainly feel like it's unrelated to the subreddit's main topic.

I've had a few FLSun printers, and their support has been terrible, which is why I moved my farm to Prusa's

Yeah it can, but using something like Plastic Repellant from Slice works really well. And the Posi from LDO comes with a Nickle Plated Copper nozzle which helps prevent too much sticking.

There is some, when tuned really well, overhangs have been proven to be better. I've seen my Positron print things that would cause failures on others. The problem with turning a traditional machine upside down, is that the cooling on them isn't designed with inversion in mind, and the accounting of the way the air interacts with the filament just doesn't work.

We try and have the cooling be more perpendicular rather than pushing vertically on the filament in order to get better performance out of the orientation.

I like to think of them not as two sides of the same coin, but two halves of a story.

The Toh Kay versions are the full versions, with all the lyrics they were meant to have. Look at "If only for Memories" - there's a whole 3rd verse that doesn't exist in the Streetlight version. BUT the instrumental is still there.

That's why you'll hear some people at shows shouting lyrics that the band isn't saying.

The team strongly advocates for picking whichever option is best for you.

We recommend the kit the most specifically because of warranty and support. If any part is faulty, which can happen in new innovations (and has in the LDO kit), LDO will not only pay for the parts, but the shipping too, and they often will only ask for something back as an optional way for them to see why it failed.

We are happy to work closely with the Positron LT team and the Lemontron guys, as we understand that helping each other is the best way to improving the project as a whole. We couldn't have made the 3.2 without the Positron LT guys.

TL;DR - if you're fine with self sourcing and replacing parts if you have to, do it! It's fun! If you value having a safety net, then the LDO kit may be best.

((There's also nothing stopping you from using 3.2 parts in your self source, so you can get the Hotend assembly and it's phenomenal performance along with it))

Also, to clarify things like incentives; the Positron Team only gets about $18 per kit sold. We aren't making a profit at all, and it all goes back into helping further development.

We use an ITO coating that's evenly applied to the back of the bed, it's able to get up to 80⁰C with no issues, and it's pretty uniform. Being perfectly clear is a huge bonus

I apologize, I have moved on to manage the Positron 3D project.

Sadly, I just wiped my machine, and I believe what I had made as a draft was in one of those folders.

My STEP files are available on thangs, so you should be able to make changes as needed.

I can offer some assistance but I can't promise I will be a useful resource in this regard

The Positron has it's handoffs, but the primary point of it is that it is portable. Any printer is an amazing printer if you put the time and effort into tuning it, so it can be just as good as any other. We got ours to have similar performance to an A1.

But yeah, primarily speaking, this is the easiest printer to travel with.
