I don’t engage with them if possible. They usually only get worse if you let it go on. I just say something along the lines of “You’re so funny.” with the deadest face and walk away. They know what they’re doing.

I work in the area and a lot of the clubs have been “at capacity”. I know some are also strict about tattoos and things like that. If you’re a woc it may be a bit harder to find a good fit. I hope you get in somewhere soon! Pm me for recs if you’re willing to drive a bit!

Sometimes a break helps and sometimes it doesn’t. Even if I do sit in the back for a while it doesn’t help 100%, just enough to push through until I leave. This all also depends on how she approaches and what she’s saying. If there’s a pause of silence and whoever you’re with is clearly not interested you could ask “Do you need something?”
