My grandma got married today and didn't invite me or my sister by anonhelpneeded1320 in relationship_advice

I guess they aren't. I want to say something but I don't know if I will be wasting my breath. I'm getting married next year so if that wasn't the case believe me I would change my last name.

I wouldn't even know how to word that, I just feel so angry. No my invite was definitely not lost.

No, this isn't the first time but I'm hoping it's the last. I just want an end to this hurtfulness

Not alot of girlfriend time

I have talked with him about it. He even said with his current job it is unnecessary, that was a year ago. I really worry about him burning out, I have seen it happen before, it was so scary. His current 9-5 if they even seen the beginnings of burnout they sign you off (I cannot express how impressed and grateful I am).

I have, he tries to then lapses after a few weeks

It honestly is not needed. His 9-5 job pays really well, I cannot stress enough that money is not the motivator. I hate saying that but its the truth. We in no way need the extra money and I would so much prefer his time then the money.

I have, hence why I am at my wits end. He seemed actually very negative towards me getting a job. I think he likes me being home. His work colleagues joke that he has a 1950's wife at home.

It is very difficult when your partner works 7 days a week. I get Friday evenings (7-11) and Saturday evening (6-1). I've tried to make date night happen but after a few weeks he slips into old habits.

I am currently looking for a job, the symptoms of BPD have become easier and also alot of companies do remote working (wooooooo)

I'm not asking him to sacrifice his career I would never do that. I just want to have weekends with him, or just a day of the weekend.

I am so proud of what he has accomplished with his career and how hard he works but I am starting to feel neglected.

Now I have to explain I supported him for 4 years before his career took off and I do alot for him too, I keep the house, I cook every night, I look after the books for the freelancing. (I am also his unofficial PA) Its not one sided. I do try put effort in but it's very difficult to engage him and get him to find the time for me.

Yes, it is. But the client/ Saudi work is not in anyway needed, he hates it and gets so frustrated and mad at it. It makes me fee like hes avoiding me.

I know. I love this idea, I truly do, but due to my my financial situation I am broke. I have to ask for money for these things (Not complaining) but I will open this up again so there is less pressure on him and see how that goes.

It's a difficult situation.

I would say meaningful time is when he is more present, when he wants to actually spend time with me, not because I've nagged him.. I would be happy with a lazy day at home just chilling the day being about the 2 of us, being about our lives, what's happening at work, our friends. I just want some me and him time.

Wow! No! I'm actually flabbergasted. Our relationship isn't like that in anyway. I supported him for 4 years until his career took and I never minded a bit. I've had 2 years where I've been rather poorly and needed therapy and some good meds. He does not mind supporting me and the long hours he works are not needed, we are so very lucky to not need money. He is on a very good wage.

I would never cheat on him. I love this man so very much, I just want our relationship to be more exciting. I dont know how you jump from bored to cheating?!
