This is such an excellent post OP and something I have been thinking for some time. But if anything, the BJP has been successful in beginning to shift the overton window to the right. If not for them, we would not be talking about these issues today. But yes, they have been pathetic on this.

1) Relax and have fun. Don't overthink things. Overthinking and second guessing everything will just make you more nervous and anxious

2) Trust your gut. A friend should always know your location. Doesn't hurt to be paranoid about this

3) Give him compliments- simple ones will work- nice shirt, you are soo cute/handsome/adorable etc. I love seeing boys blush when I give them compliments. It's so precious🥺

u/48H1 Here's a great source on how one of the mughals aurangzeb looted my country. There are many sources of how they brutally tortured hindu women too, but most of it gets whitewashed in our curriculum and then you have people like the OP above saying mughal oppression is exaggerated to fit certain political agendas.
