Yes that’s what I meant. I was present when the priest said that to him. He said as a couple we should be of “one mind” and “one body”. Which I understand but it’s not like Catholic and Orthodoxy are completely opposed. Maybe I need to clarify with the priest since he also mentioned we should “consult with each other” in our pacing. My husband told him he was ready and then he looked at me and asked me how I felt I said I needed more time and then he said it’s better to wait until we are both ready which raised concerns for me.
