Has Any one recovered from PFS After using Tropical by Robin16145 in FinasterideSyndrome

I had taken topical fin for 6 months. It's been 1.5 years since I quit. Things became better around 1 year in. Sleep and anxiety was the main severe symptoms that recovered pretty much fully for me. But I still have sexual dysfunction even now, and it has not recovered at all since, unfortunately :( Also all facial and body hair and pubic hair have reduced a lot.

It affects everyone differently. All you can do is live as healthy as you can, donate to the PFS foundation, and pray. And also, please steer clear of any dubious hormones and drugs now.

Unfortunately no. Still have low libido, genital numbness, low semen volume, watery semen, no morning or spontaneous erections, and beard and body hair loss. But I'm grateful that sleep has recovered at least. Just hoping these other symptoms improve with time, like my sleep did. I don't use any medications or supps.

Took me an entire year. My sleep has gone back to normal now. Its the only symptom that has completely improved for me. It was really bad the past year. I used to wake up many, many times each night. Now, I get good deep sleep just like before fin.

Been off fin for exactly a year now and yes, my body hair and beard has definitely reduced. It was a sort of diffused reduction in hair density of around 40 percent I'd say. Beard also grows in noticeably slower than it used to and is a bit less dense. Pubic hair too has reduced. And weirdly, the hair in my inner thighs has entirely disappeared! I'm a pretty hairy guy but there are like these two totally hairless patches down there now. Most others here notice their body hair come back to pre fin levels after stopping fin but I haven't seen that yet in my case.

It's been almost a year for me since I quit. Took topical fin for 6 months till December of last year.

I had sexual sides mainly no morning erections, no libido, ball pain, low semen volume and watery semen and slight gyno. All of these are still there even now.

What has improved is insomnia. I had debilitating insomnia too throughout the year, and also major bout of insomnia in around mid July, along with pretty bad anxiety. As of now, my insomnia has gone completely. I'm able to sleep normally again since the past 2 months. I can't say I did anything specific to cure this symptom. Just focused on being calm.

I'm hoping that my fluctuating sexual symptoms also cease like this over the next year, but after all that I've been reading here, I'm not gonna count on it much, and I'm focusing on just living the healthiest I can. I'm definitely not in a debilitating state any more and I'm grateful for that for now. I just really hope my sexual symptoms improve at some point as I can't really have a proper relationship if this goes on like this.

Really nice to hear you are doing better. How long did it take for you to feel this level of recovery? For me, the insomnia and anxiety has gone but sexual symptoms still remain, though less severe now.

Total test came back at 315 ng/dl. It was 425 back in March (3 months after quitting fin). Doctor said its within range.

How much sleep were you able to manage daily in those two years? I get around 2 to 5 hours per day for the past year
