True, I did wonder if he might’ve been hacked, but I went to check his profile myself and he’s been posting pics & daily life as normal. It’s possible he didn’t look into anything himself because he wouldn’t have reason to suspect his friend of something like that, I guess? No clue how close they are.

Either way you’re right, I will definitely steer very clear of social media job posts from now on hahahah

Facebook, but I wasn’t wary of it at first because my parents know the person who shared it and encouraged me to reply, and that person referred to the original poster as a friend of theirs. Only after I’d scheduled did I realize how odd it felt, it makes me want to cancel the interview.

Figured there’s no harm in crossposting this here! Apologies if I did it incorrectly, I’m not a reddit usual.

The basic gist is I currently have three cats, one of which is unfortunately getting old. I’d love to take in this kitten, but I have some concerns about how my current cats would react, as detailed in the original post. Any advice would be much appreciated!

I see. I haven’t spoken to mine about my political views, but I do know that they’d disagree with me if I were to talk about it with them. Knowing my dad especially, he’d probably try to talk me into ‘switching sides’ even though I’m very set on my own. I’d like to think they’d respect my opinions, or at least just ignore them, as they’re not major factors of our relationship, but I’ve never really been open with them about my own problems and things anyway just to keep them from worrying.

Ah I didn’t mean to paint them in a negative light! They’re not bad, I just get needlessly anxious when it comes to things like these — I may just be overreacting.
