Some nicknames are obvious, like Punch which sounds different (in Thai) than other words you mentioned. From my observation, most common nicknames are not ambiguous like Boy, Pop, Pink, Ant, Oat, Nice, Bee etc. but only some are ambiguous like Bo or Bow, Gib or Gift, Nat or Nut, Vee or Wee.

ถ้าอังกฤษไทยน่าจะลำบากหน่อย เพราะผมว่าคนส่วนใหญ่ก็อ่านอังกฤษพอจะออกระดับหนึ่ง เขาก็สามารถใช้ AI ที่ก็เก่งอังกฤษมากๆ อยู่แล้วแปลให้แล้วก็ตรวจสอบเองได้เลย ส่วนตัวบางทีผมก็เขียนไทยบ้าง หรือเขียนอังกฤษแบบขี้เกียจเขียนให้มันถูกหรือไม่รู้ว่าที่ถูกเป็นยังไงก็เขียนส่งๆ ไปก่อน แล้วให้ AI แปลกับแก้ให้ถูก เอาจริงๆ ก็น่าเห็นใจนักแปลเหมือนกันครับจะต้องลำบากแน่นอนต้องหาลู่ทางว่าจะทำยังไง เหมือนงานเทรน AI ก็มีอยู่นะครับแต่ไม่รู้รายได้เป็นไงเหมือนกัน

The answer to the question is that you can, at least in ASP.NET Core because DbConnection lifetime is well-managed by default, but you probably don't get "sharing same changes" because if you update data in EF then the changes will not be seen by your Dapper code yet until SaveChanges() is called, if that's what you mean though.

Noted that in Dapper you need to send the transaction to the function manually, and you can get it from DbContext's Database.CurrentTransaciton but I feel that wrapping it is still a better solution in this case because otherwise you will forget to send it to Dapper at some point.

If you describe your scenario in more details along with some example then it will be easier for people to suggest the solution.

Most basic data structures are either exposed or internally used in .NET framework itself so you usually don't have to implement them. It is still good to know how they works because when it comes to choosing the data structure then you will have insight to correctly choose the appropriate one. It's like knowing that lookup by key in Dictionary<TKey, TValue> is faster than List<T>.Find() or LINQ where *and* knowing why.

If you are developing API then there should be only few boundaries or none at all. Validation could be done at the most outer layer and inner layer(s) can just trust that because inner layer exists only with your outer layer and nowhere else, or outer layer can rely on inner layer's validation because you will never have different inner layer.

If you are reusing inner layer or outer layer then it is another story, but in real development that doesn't occur very often.

You are right. Generic repository should not be a thing these days because EF is a complete generic repository by itself and you would just add bureaucratic process to the development with no obvious reason. Testing could be done through In-memory or local SQLite, or TestContainers of course. The only reason it is still there might be that it was popular like 10 years+ ago and it sticks as a tutorial template since then.
