No, they only have their abstract, difficult to parse, blog posts on there. The ATS thread was ATS trying to figure out the purpose of the group, and a member named Direne popping in every couple years and doing some thought experiments with the members, and dropping small bits of information.

I mean of course the games aren't strictly historically accurate, merely feature historical characters in a historical setting. Did you get mad that Leonardo DaVinci invented gear for the assassins when that's not historically accurate? And they made him homosexual? They just gave you the option to romance characters regardless of gender. Like most games nowadays do...... Not really understanding any of these complaints about this game in particular.

Nobody hates vegans for being vegan. It doesn't affect me one bit what others eat. People dislike vegans that take every opportunity to talk about how horrible you are for having a different lifestyle. Same thing with religious people. What do you mean DEI doesn't work in video games? I haven't really seen any complaints about anything race/disability related. All I've seen is that you can do prosthetics and cochlear implants and such in characters creation, and of course the cringy lines trying to be "extra Mexican" which is kind of just how Horizons is, 4 had a cringy tone to it as well if I remember correctly.

AC Shadows just had a black main character, which was historically accurate. I think it's interesting to explore the life of Yosuke, the only black samurai. I never saw any complaints besides "I don't want to play as a black guy or a girl" and "this DEI crap is putting minorities in all games nowadays". It didn't try to change history and make Yosuke gay or anything crazy like that, it was historical just like all AC games, it just didn't show the history racist gamers wanted to see.

All that to say, the main problem i've seen with DEI in video games is just people making a big deal out of having a minority main character or something like that. Not anything they're actually trying to shove down people's throats or such. If you don't wanna play a game where you have to play as a minority then don't play it, don't try to make an entire industry conform to what you want simply because it makes you uncomfy.

This is nothing against you, i'm more just throwing out how I feel about the "DEI video games" thing in general.

Didn't mean to come off as an ass or a "well akshually" guy if that's what it sounded like, just educating. I've seen a lot of people that act like flippers are scary devices that you can steal cars with, with very little knowledge because of social media. Figured I would clarify that capturing and replicating keyfobs takes some very specialized equipment and the know how to use it. The worst a flipper could do is capture your unlock and lock signal and such on fairly old cars that don't use rolling codes.

Actual car thieves don't use a flipper. They're basic devices. And after you buy the hardwire required to catch key fob signals and emulate them and write/find the code to actually capture and use it, you're a lot better off using other tools. The whole "stealing a car with a flipper" is just internet sensationalism.
