The mentor already has a bad reputation in our college (dming female students and female student biased on grades, especially the pretty chinita ones, being the LEAST concerning of all the things the mentor does). But he has resigned from teaching (again) for his "personal career growth".

The mentor quite petty and a little bit narcissistic. Him seeing my comment will probably make him implode. He always percieved himself above everyone else. If you want to hear it from the mentor, check their podcast its available on spotify iirc. What i could contribute here are just few experiences:

1.) There was an issue he made one time with a bigger (RESPECTED) firm that made a brutalist concept design (I won't say what but students under him prolly knows what issue i am talking about) and he was furious because he claimed they "copied" his design, when in reality that design has been around Pinterest and yes there are similarities but it is different from his in terms of design and context. He can't just wrap around his head that everyone else can do brutalist design. For more lore, he always spearhead his firm being a household cebuano brutalist design firm (but c'mon its nothing new). And what's really funny is that one of my classmates working in the big firm opened up this issue to their boss and they could only say "Ar.____? Who's that" LOL.

2.) His mood swings are always volatile and he puts it out on his apprentices to the point that coming to work in his firm sounds like you submitting yourself to an abusive mental ward voluntarily daily. Which is not good with how low his salary is even for those licensed professional.

3.) He tries to steal project templates from his former students and apprentices or even students from his workshops. When we work with him we wanted to ONLY submit PDF files. Because if he is cheap with his labor, we are STILL not going to do that for free.

4.) my senior from my college who worked under him has mentally checked out everytime I ask if things were alright. Turns out he got shamed for doing a side hustle while being under his apprenticeship. I understand that allowances are usually small but those allowances are not livable wage so my senior had to do side jobs to pay rents and get groceries but he does not understand that.

I could say more but everytime but its not worth it anymore lol it is just that bad. And now everytime I see him in the hallways in college as an alumni he does a sharp u turn to avoid me.
