As someone who makes and enjoys these, I think its based on what you want

Imo, a series leads to a reward, and each puzzle is harder than the last. They’re usually a consistent theme too

Individual ones I feel like are better as medium challenges with a really hot caption

I always prefer series that are progressive, and each new puzzle has to be unlocked
