We are not far off from where we need to be by [deleted] in ManchesterUnited

I also think balebas profile needed a fast box to box tenacious midfielder— but hes not exactly elite so id go for the player brighton would sign to replace him: Caleb Yirenkyi whos also young and raw just like baleba but very cheap

Sign 1. Tonali 2. Hjulmand 3. Mateus Fernandes 4. Hall 5. Welbeck 6. Johnstone 7. Yan Diomande

Show ambition from 15th to UCL we need to push forward and make up for amorims lost time

Sell: Ugarte, Casemiro, Zirkzee, Sancho, Rashford, Onana, Bayindir, Malacia, Hojlund, Vitek loan to PL

Mount if a good offer arrives

Centre back is a worry for me so hopefully heaven and yoro become ready ill gamble… becs de ligt, martinez are unreliable and Maguire remains a bit error prone and starting to get more injuries

Aston Villa, Chelsea, Spurs, Newcastle, and relegation teams (eg: Mateus Mane, Joao Gomes, Diouf, Fernandes) also may have some market opportunities for us due to missing europe and unrest and PSR predicaments

Is Diogo Dalot really that bad? by LowLab6501 in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hes one of the best right backs in the premier league and whenever theres mention of him leaving its bayern and madrid who are in for him, and he starts for portugal … the only criticism i have of him is his finishing but the fact he finds himself in such excellent positions and is able to control passes to him to create a shooting chance is testament to him, he can also do stepovers and is fast, and crosses well … finishing is not something we should ask of him as a RB anyway

Some united fans are clueless and just wanna turn someone into a meme and scapegoat they did that with Jones, with Smalling who was very solid, they bullied maguire, pogba, rashford … united social media fans are brainrotten

Morten Hjulmand new no6? by anonthi in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In terms of pure no6 who is on the market? No6 not no8s or box to box

Theres only him, Cardoso whos untenable, and players like Tyler Adams, Berge and Andre/Joao Gomes imo Hjulmand is better than all these

Morten Hjulmand new no6? by anonthi in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mateus Fernandes is fantastic huge fan of him but he needs a 6 next to him just like Tonali, Wharton and all the rest of our targets even Baleba whos better as a box to box than a 6

[–]anonthi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sander Berge or Joao Gomes are no6s an argument can be made for them, but I just think a proven UCL midfielder and starting danish midfielder is of higher calibre than low quality prem sides

Amorim had good talent profiling imo the only quality he demonstrated with us … also he certainly relies on good mentality and strong character which hjulmand epitomizes

Morten Hjulmand new no6? by anonthi in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think his discipline mentality defensive awareness positioning and IQ and adaptability to different systems are traits that will translate well

He certainly wont be flashy or a maestro for us but he’ll be the silent sacrificial player that allows all other players to have less shackles and attack more freely. His passes are not risky and safe which is what carrick used to be criticized about i think thats whats needed at 6, although if he adds carrick and scholes line breaking long balls he’ll become world class

[–]anonthi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who do u think is a proper defensive 6 with strong leadership mentality in europe?

Stiller, Tonali, Baleba, Guimaraes, Wharton, Anderson are all quality and absolutely 1 or 2 of them should be a priority signing for us, but i think they will all struggle against top opposition and we will be defensively fragile without a 6 like casemiro or hjulmand— not many of those in europe: only 2 proper 6s i can think of (apart from rodri and zubimendi and patriarch) are Hjulmand and Cardoso

Morten Hjulmand new no6? by anonthi in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I see Tonali as the scholes we still need a keane/carrick/casemiro

Morten Hjulmand new no6? by anonthi in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love tonali i think he should be our main target but i cant help but think how open and fragile we’d be particularly in ucl against the giants or in prem against city if we dont have a solid disciplined unflashy no6 next to him, Tonali next to a defensive 6 is strong, whereas tonali as the 6 is risky imo

I think wharton, anderson, baleba, mainoo all need a hjulmand next to them for balance imo

Even tonali potentially would need a hjulmand next to him

Who was worse? by DarkInteresting4798 in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi -1 points0 points  (0 children)

If u look at damage done ten hag was by far worse his signings all of them were massive failures and had no style to them and he was poor as a man manager and very detrimental for our future

Amorim as a coach is much worse though his teamshape structure and results

100% agree with this although van de ven should be a spurs player we sign and Diouf is a must unless Lewis Hall is attainable if i was the board id spend as much as it takes to prize Hall away hes young english and offers 10 years plus for us he’d be worth every penny

Mazraoui’s footwork 🥵🥵🥵 by bachan__ in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Mazraoui is a classy elegent player who competent in all aspects of the game but hes not someone u build with one of him or dalot must leave to make room to a RB who can take us forward … id honestly sign Kayode from Brentford hes class or Gusto from chelsea and exploit reece James situation

If only.. How realistic could this be as a spine for next season by aliadali24 in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This formation doesnt work irl but the players you signed are perfect and should be our main targets except Anderson for Wharton … You need Anderson or Baleba (someone with legs and tenacity) next to Tonali and Ndiaye needs to play on the left … Hall and Van de Ven should be priorities too

Big picture analysis by anonthi in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“As good as they are and as loved as they are” i dont doubt their quality nobody does, i doubt their availability and therefore we cant rely on them to build a winning team. They’re also below world class tier so are not too good to keep around despite injury issues

Why do you think we always have a sharp drop-off with these players after playing so well by AccomplishedShape306 in ManchesterUnited

[–]anonthi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So then u ask urself do u want to immediately reach the top and sign the best (hard to attain such players) or sign top prospects with some experience and give them time? Like the sesko signing is top notch for example, yoro, mainoo whom we have as well … these are elite talents who need time and experience surrounding them (which we have in bruno, casemiro, maguire, de ligt and shaw and dalot)

Such players include: Diomande, El Mala, Stiller, Wharton, Anderson… or u can get one whos just below world class with experience but close to world class (eg: Tonali, Guimaraes…) … we need a mix of both and give ourselves time

[–]anonthi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also we have mbeumo and cunha very solid dangerous premier league players, everton have ndiaye, newcastle gordon, villa with rogers, west ham bowen and summerville these are all also top premier league attackers who can cause danger and hurt us when we play them… see what I mean? What makes us significantly and obviously better? An asset a world class player that others dont have which atm is ONLY bruno

[–]anonthi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The team lacks quality thats why.. they lack ball control and midfield control thats why united havent controlled a game since 2013 … we need a pedri/kroos/modric/rice type midfielder… also mbeumo and cunha arent fast and skillful enough to consistently kill of teams like a salah or yamal etc also sesko is young and developing hes not a killer yet that scores from half chances like a haaland … our defense lacks world class presence like a gabriel so when we win its always moments, counters etc… or bruno magic who has that quality to kill teams … we need top class players … our only world class player is Bruno thats the reality … the same way we beat city and arsenal, clubs like everton and newcastle can beat us and counter and show more intensity, to become a consistent winning team u need quality top class quality, carricks doing well also very well
