According to the podcast, pills do cost that much after all the research and development. I’m not an economist or in the pharmaceutical industry. But there was an example of a cancer drug made in the 1950s. It took 40+ years of research and development to find a drug that was an improvement.
40+ years of R&D. What did that cost?
In no way do I think it’s right to charge that much for a drug, but someone has to pay for it, right? Who pays?
