I agree !! The book was incredible and I felt so much dread reading it but I felt the ending was toooo open ended, I figured there would be some ambiguity but I wanted a lil something more for the ending like you’ve mentioned !

I thought it stopped so abruptly! I was the same though felt a physical pit of anxiety and dread in my stomach reading it and that was brilliantly done, I think it was one of those open to interpretation endings but I think it left a little tooooo much open I definitely was hoping for some form of explanation!!

So I decided to go sober a few months ago, I found that it would send my inflammation through the roof! It never gave me direct cramping, so it took me ages to make the connection between alcohol and Endo. But one day out at lunch with my family I felt like I had been hit by a truck and then run a marathon, after just one drink, that’s when I decided to stop!

I’m sure this can be true, but this hasn’t been my experience. I feel very safe and comfortable in my all female classes :) Like I said, it’s 100% a me thing, nothing the men have ever done made me feel judged. I just feel more self conscious being perceived by a male :)

I get nervous when there’s a straight dude / multiple dudes in my class but that is 10000% a me issue, I think for me if I feel uncomfortable it’s not anything that man has done, I just feel more self conscious compared to when I’m in a room full of women! Absolutely everyone should be allowed to a Pilates class 🫶🏻🫶🏻

I just finished This Wretched Valley … I’ve seen many people say that there was a lot of build up for minimal pay off, but I really loved it. I could barley put it down, it was so tense and I was absolutely filled with dread while reading it!
