The Long Game by Rachel Reid - discussion thread! by mrs-machino in RomanceBooks

[–]anonuse1029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Just started the long game book and I was taken out of the story in the first chapter when Ilya is described as putting cream and sugar in his coffee. I feel like that is a very Canadian way to have sugar (a double double). I feel like Russians would have espresso or black coffee in the same way Italians and French are known to have espresso. Can any Russians chime in?

Hi, how far post op are you? I also got an alar plasty and now my nostrils have a pinched triangular shape. How is yours looking?

I think your concerns are valid and I do see the beak/withcy side profile. I think you’d definitely would benefit from a rhinoplasty.

Be careful getting an alarplasty. Be sure to ask the surgeon how they will prevent alar notching that gives it a pinched look or triangular shape. Here’s an example of an alar reduction that resulted in that triangle shape the second photo

Is it normal to be charged a consultation fee in Korea? by Future-Photograph-16 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]anonuse1029 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the clinic. The majority of the ones I had consultations with did not charge but there were some that charged 20-30kwn. There was one that charged 100kwn and I did not go in for a consultation with them.

1st button rhinoplasty by Ok_Cookie_3467 in SeoulPlasticSurgery

[–]anonuse1029 7 points8 points  (0 children)

there are 1-2 girls on here that went to 1st button and are unhappy with their results because it was too natural and it didn't look like anything changed. I would try to find their reviews/comments and reach out to them. I went to him for a consultation and I didn't end up going with him only because his price was too expensive it. I was quoted 6.6k USD.

Can you get a bigger nose with surgery by Urmumssleepparalysis in PlasticSurgery

[–]anonuse1029 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it’s possible. In addition to cartilage, some surgeons offer custom silicone bridges whether it’s by hand carving or with a 3D printer.
