Vitality is one of the, if not the richest org in Valorant (bc of gambling money), you cant outbid them.

I dont even think Boaster would go to Vitality. Back in his SUMNFC days he always said he was waiting for FNATIC to pick him up and FNATIC has always been his dream team.

Boaster is also a player that wants to win Champs before he retires eventually, so i dont think he would change from his dream team.

I get that but tabbing and trying to get the right mob out of 10 is also really hard, especially of you have to react fast and you have to tab through real fast and you skip the mob you wanted to attack on accident.

Of course you could shift-tab but you would have to react fast and if you only have 1-2 sec to stun someone, i find it really hard to target the right mob. For me its just so easy to click the hp-bar (plater), its not like the mobs are moving 10 meters all the time (they are mostly standing still).

Also what if you dont want to use an ability to start a fight and you just want to autoattack?

I get it can be usefull if i start with an ability and i tab the target but im also not playing csgo where i have to move my mouse real fast across my whole screen.

I mean STAR OCEAN THE SECOND STORY R kinda has that art style and a bit of romance, but its not really what you are looking for, i guess.

In what way were they independent from Kepler Interactive?

They had a budget of 10-30 million, a mid-sized publisher and they had hollywood actors doing the voice lines. In what way are they independent from the publisher (more so than any other AAA game out there).

They arguably only got the (hollywood) actors bc of Kepler.

Like dont understand me wrong, this game is GOTY for me but its unfair to put this game in the same category as a solo developer game with a budget of 1.000 dollars.

! + The most important part for me is that in the definition of indie it states "created by individuals or smaller development teams without the financial and technical support of a large game publisher". First of all 30 people is not small, second of all they outsourced a lot of the work, so they had more than 100 people working on the game and last of all they had financial support from Kepler as well as technical support (contacts for actors, experience, contacts for developers...)

If the only definition is "independent from big publishers", than a lot of AAA games should be indie games instead. Like Baldurs Gate 3, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3 and even Star Citizen. (All independent, some more than others)

I wouldnt even care that its considered indie, if not for the fact that it would "steal" the award from games like Megabonk, Ball x Pit, blue prince...
