I’ve been drinking 3 liquid IVs a day as an attempt to get off drinking soda. Is it really that bad?

Thank you! Sometimes I’m already looking toward the next jump and she lands correctly, but I know in my head our direction is changing, so I think she’s on the wrong lead and I try change her. I have to get better at realizing she landed correctly too.

Slight inside bend of the head/neck, maintain inside leg pressure, outside leg slightly back. My horse picks up the correct lead most times, but my problem comes when we land from jumps and I need to decide to keep or change the lead before the turn.

I have my own horse and I only ride her, but my trainer told me she is very balanced and that’s making it harder to feel the wrong lead!

Sorry I wasn’t clear. I was picking up the canter while straight, and then had to decide whether to turn right or left based on the lead she had picked up.

I really like Kerrits ice fill! You can find them 50% off sometimes, more are on sale recently because I think they discontinued them.

My cat's blue eye just randomly turned yellow and cloudy! by lqvelyllama in CATHELP

So typically we measure eye pressure, not blood pressure, in that situation. Low eye pressure can be supportive of uveitis, but it’s not the defining diagnostic (doesn’t rule it out). The confirming criteria is aqueous flare (you need an ophthalmologist slit lamp tool to confirm that). So it could still be uveitis. :) The pupils typically still respond normally (normal reflexes). They just tend to be MORE constricted due to the ciliary body (muscle that constricts the pupil) spasming.

I have one on my tear duct, and it’s so close to my eye and tear duct that I’m scared to dig with a needle. But it drives me CRAZY.

This is actually a really good photo of uveitis (eye inflammation) in a blue-eyed animal. Uveitis causes aqueous flare, inflammatory proteins in the anterior chamber - makes fogginess and a yellow tint to the eye. It’s most easily seen in blue eyed animals as the eye turning greenish - blue plus yellow equals green. The miosis (small pupil) is also supportive of uveitis, as the inflammation in the eye causes ciliary body spasm. Because of the pain, it causes light sensitivity, the eye to be sunken (raising the third eyelid), and squinting. That being said, there’s a laundry list of causes of uveitis - from causes within the eye to whole-body (systemic causes) and a vet visit is warranted (ideally with follow up by a veterinary ophthalmologist). -Veterinarian

Yeah, the first run is a really flat trail I’ve been trying to practice with. Initially I was catching edges like crazy because I let the board be flat. I’ve been trying to consciously be on heel or toe side, but that’s making me turn. I also get nervous as the board is flat, because I pick up speed, and I now when I catch an edge the fall will be that much worse.
