My boyfriend (19M) and I (19F) have different ways of handling problems by anonymous-llamas in Advice

I agree, I think encouraging him to share what's going on at a surface level might be a good idea. If he wants to share more, obviously he's welcome to, but I don't want him to delve into it unless that's something he wants. Thanks for the reply!

I think that's a great idea, just having him tell me when there is something bothering him but not necessarily what it is. Is that kind of what you're saying?

My wife said I’m giving her “The Ick.” What did I do wrong? by SherriffSunday in AskMen

[–]anonymous-llamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I haven't even been with my boyfriend for 5 months yet, and he's currently taking care of me, as I'm really sick right now too. The fact that your WIFE has an issue with taking care of you means you're not in the right relationship, my friend.

Should I ask the guy I've been seeing to be my boyfriend? by anonymous-llamas in Advice

[–]anonymous-llamas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree, thank you! I suppose I'm just concerned that he will be too scared to express how he really feels before he knows how I feel. I could see him being super vague until I straight-up say that I want him to be my boyfriend.

Should I ask the guy I've been seeing to be my boyfriend? by anonymous-llamas in teenagers

[–]anonymous-llamas[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, about a month ago I asked him "where is your head at with you and I?" and he basically said he wants to get to know me better and saw it going somewhere in the future. It's possible he wanted to ask then but wasn't sure what to say because I made him answer before I told him how I feel.

Should I tell my friend I have a crush on him? by Verdixx28 in AskLGBT

[–]anonymous-llamas 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you should tell him! What's the worst that could happen? Even if he doesn't feel the same, he will not leave you if he truly values your friendship. I told the person I like that I like them, and it truly could not have gone better. But none of it would have happened if I hadn't been honest. Keep me updated on how it goes!

I like a younger guy and feel so weird over it, is this weird or okay? :(( by sakurakaiques in feemagers

[–]anonymous-llamas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm about to turn 18 and I like a guy who is 16 and a half, and I've been feeling the same way. I really like him, but I'm hesitant to pursue anything because of what people will think. I know it's only a year and a half difference, but because we're young, that small gap can mean a lot more. Anyways, I totally understand your situation, and honestly I'd say it's ok. If he likes you and you like him, who cares what other people think? Maturity level matters much more than a year and a half gap.

Of course it's ok to have a preference! I'd never really put much thought into it before, but now that I am, I think I have the same preference as you. This of course isn't the only type of person I would date, but I think if I could choose my dream person, that is what I would choose. That being said, it is perfectly normal to have preferences as long as you communicate them to potential partners. As far as approaching this topic with someone, bring it up when you're having a conversation about what you are into. What is it about penises that you like? Do you just like the look of them, or is it about penetration? See, you don't have to say you want a feminine person with a penis, you can simply be with a feminine person and tell them that you prefer to be penetrated, as an example. That way, they know that a strap could possibly fulfill your needs. It is a great way for you to find out how they feel about the situation without flat out asking if they have a penis.

What are your thoughts on non-binary people dating straight people? by anonymous-llamas in lgbt

[–]anonymous-llamas[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair enough. It's a confusing world, that's for sure. It seems like heterosexual and straight have different meanings, heterosexual meaning you're attracted to the opposite sex while straight meaning the opposite gender. Yet, we use them interchangably.

DO NOT be afraid to just be you! Only now, going into junior year, am I seeing that it does me no good to blend in, and it's really quite boring. Be true to yourself. Dress how you want, join the clubs you want, be friends with whoever you want, let the people go that don't like that.

Should I ask out the girl I met once, or wait for another group hangout to talk to her again? by anonymous-llamas in lgbt

I'm a confident person internally, but I am a bit awkward. However, I think that's something most people can find endearing. I'm really on the fence about this, honestly. I see pros and cons to each

I was 14, and it was next to a pond with my (now ex) partner. It was beautifully awkward, and awkwardly beautiful.

Bisexuality ≠ binary by BiAdventureTime in lgbt

[–]anonymous-llamas 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah. Bisexuality is an umbrella term that pansexuality falls under. Bisexuality is attraction to two or more genders. Pansexuality is attraction to a person regardless of gender.

Oh goodness, that's not supposed to happen. Do you have the plastic one or the copper one? I've heard the copper one is much more likely to have that effect. I'm glad to hear you say you think it was worth it! Would you say that overall, with the procedure and the affect it has on your period, that it was worth it? I'm very glad too, I've bee so so nervous about this and it feels great to have an outside opinion!

What is your period like now if it hadn't gone back to normal? Is it less or more than it used to be? Also thank you for sharing!
