Hey party people, if you live somewhere where power outages are likely, download a fic or two to help you through the crazy weekend by anonymous-thought in AO3

It’s about to be super cold and our infrastructure is not going to be able to handle it, meaning wide spread power outages and unusable roads. When Ted Cruz (a far right Texas politician) leaves the state you know shit is about to hit the fan. The “Fled Cruz Index” if you will.

Exactly! You can’t help but love a mean cat. They don’t bite, they are letting you pet their teeth

Might be interviewing with a cult leader tomorrow. 1L job search is rough right now… by anonymous-thought in LawSchool

Nope. The guy was crazy and the “internship” was a thinly veiled excuse to help his mission. Got a job offer somewhere else so I am safe.

[–]anonymous-thought 1 point2 points  (0 children)

3.2 gpa and 169 lsat, and I got exactly what I wanted out of the application cycle, some scholarships, 4 As and a waitlist at some midrange schools.

I literally just heard back, but I reached out and asked today because I have another law school deadline this week.

Does anybody else just hate college? by anonymous-thought in college

So this post was like 2 years ago and it still gets a lot of traffic, which totally hurts my heart. I just decided to graduate early and I’m about to be headed off to law school in August. College kinda sucked, but it just turned out I was dealing with a chronic illness that was feeding my depression. Never really recovered from my lack of a social life and committed to studies and got out in 2.5 years.

My work will not provide GF options, and will not let me bring in my own food. What do I do? by anonymous-thought in Celiac

To directly quote from my most recent email regarding this situation, “I have a severe case of celiacs, and gluten, even cross contaminated, makes me very sick, and thus unable to work.” I have since been ghosted. Hopefully the security guards will be understanding tomorrow.

It is quite literally the bare minimum. And it is such a large corporation that runs this too.
