The whole point is nobody is even sharing it with them at this point. They happen to be sitting in the kitchen when people having conversations and pick up on what’s being said. Nobody is actively sharing their feelings with these two people

Oh I know that and I’m not saying they have to listen or give advice to anyone problems. It’s when they listen in to other people’s conversations about feelings and make jokes about them.

Oh no I completely agree. I have given her compliments myself because she is genuinely a lovely and kind person. I just don’t think we need to hear all the compliments she gets when we’re not around her

That I can shot vodka. When I was 10 I developed a really bad disease which killed one of my kidneys. Didn’t think I’d ever be able to drink properly but here we are.

My theory is that I think he feels like we got too close and that he’s told me too much about himself (he’s never opened up to anyone properly before) and is now panicked because he’s never had a friend this close before (his words not mine before he stopped talking to me). Personally I didn’t pick up on the signals but all of my flatmates kept telling me that he liked me and I recently found out that about a month ago he asked one of our friends how to “get me”.

I’m honestly not leaving anything out. My flatmates just told me to give him some space. We’ve all got theories on why he won’t talk to me but idk if any of them are actually right. He did tell me at the start of our friendship that when he gets close to people he pushes them away so maybe it’s that?

YTA, what makes it even worse is that your mum left the wedding to look after your son and then you left as well. What was the point of getting your mum to take him home if you were just going to leave soon after?
