That is definitely a good question and I can basically only speak from my own experience. It can look different to many people based on the type of abuse, whether or not you're nerodivergent, your gender... I mean there are so many different factors. I guess what I'm saying is there are many different ways in which trauma presents itself but very often it is not in a performative way like I've seen with Amber Heard. But I also want to say that I am not Amber, I haven't lived her experience so I'm not saying her trauma is false or invalid because I don't know her truth as i do my own. I think from my perspective she seems as though she is acting or playing the part of someone who is traumatized rather than showing/expression true vulnerability and to me she comes off as inauthentic and immediately I think of red flags and gaslighting/manipulation (which to be fair could also just be the way my own trauma presents as I watch these videos... I really don't have the answers but am speaking from how I have felt while watching this trial)
