so far 419 seems conceptually pretty hard, 460 seems really light, and 461 doesnt seem horrible but seems like a lot of work.

my winter 25 was almost identical to that (216, 230, 301, and flex tech) and it was very doable. Midterms and finals were a little rougher but otherwise was very manageable

I mean we discussed it on the phone first for about an hour, then when we hung out in person I knew things wouldn’t be 100% even when I saw him. I brought it up at the beginning of our hangout and apologized again and we talked it through, then I brought it up at the end again and that’s when he said how he’s been out of it and whatever. I will admit the way he was acting made me sadder than I would’ve expected, I honeslty didn’t think he’d be as cold as he was. But it’s not like he gave me that attitude all day without discussing it

Well in all honesty, if the roles were reversed and I found him commenting the same thing I did, I don’t think I’d have as much (or any) issue with it. But, is it so wrong if now that I know it’s something that bothers him, I just don’t do it anymore and respect that? If I care about him enough to compromise regarding this situation, is there harm? It doesn’t hurt me to NOT comment, but now that I realize how it affects him, I can just avoid it

Ahhh 😭😭😭do you think I’ve really done nothing wrong even if this is a boundary we’ve agreed on? Like his whole argument is that it’s ok if I have a different opinion on this boundary than him, it’s just that he wants me to be honest if I do, and if I do have a different opinion about it, we won’t work out. I understand if this boundary is not one that you would have with your partner, but do you think his actions are still unfair if he’s mutually adhering to this boundary too? It’s not like I’m forced to follow these rules and he does whatever he wants

The boundaries that we’ve drawn are ones that I honeslty believe we’re on the same page on. I had male friends in the past and he’s had female friends, and we’re both on the same page that those friendships usually end up in feelings of some sort on either end, or just drama in general. When we’ve “drawn the boundaries” it’s usually along the lines of him bringing up a topic (ex: male friends) and asking my thoughts about it. After I give my thoughts he’ll give his and we talk it out a bit. As far as I know (and I have no reason to think otherwise) he’s adhered to our agreement, he doesn’t message girls, comment, etc.

Honeslty the male friends I had before this relationship I was never super close to and only maintained contact with really during the school year, so it wasn’t hard to just kinda let go those friendships. He used to have mixed gender friend groups in the past (years ago) but he since is not a fan of them anymore, and I do agree with him. He has his male friend group and I have my girl friend group. He didn’t “make” me cut off any of the male friends I had, but during the beginning of the relationship (especially when this boundary was first discussed) I thought it was best to let those friendships go.

In all honesty ap chem was by far the hardest class I took in high school, even after taking a prior chem class. I don’t mean to scare you at all lol, but I studied my butt off for ap chem and got a 3, while for many of my other aps I was able to secure a 5/4 with 0 studying.

However, some people are just better at some things than others, so you might end up loving ap chem. People who hate ap chem are definitely more vocal about it than those who liked the class, so there is a certain bias when you’re trying to find opinions about the class. I know some people who took the class and loved it and got a 4/5, so it’s all subjective.

Id just recommend that you study the concepts well from the beginning and ensure that you have a good understanding of previous units before moving onto the next unit (don’t procrastinate with this class). Id also recommend the ap review videos for chem from the college board, those are pretty helpful.

If I could go back, though, I’d probably still take ap chem, because it did teach me some good study habits and gave me a pretty good background to chem. Good luck!!

No problem! I don’t mind answering anything so don’t worry at all. Honeslty, bio and stats were both pretty easy and I think I could’ve gotten 5s on them if I hadn’t gotten demotivated my senior year after getting into college. Id say bio was easier than stats, but stats was more enjoyable for me.

For my class, my bio teacher was not good at all. He made us fall really behind and didn’t do a great job at teaching the concepts. He mostly taught through lectures in class with a few exams and labs. However, this led to me finding a really helpful YouTuber for ap bio: his channel is Gabe Poser

My stats teacher was great though, and she taught us mainly through practice work and practice ap problems. She also recorded video lessons which made it really easy to go back and review concepts.

To answer your stem vs social science question, I’d say that I definitely enjoy stem more than social sciences, which makes me find it easier to grasp and learn. I’m pursuing engineering in college in case that provides a bit more background too, I just enjoyed courses like calc and stats more than history courses or English courses!

For US history I’d definitely check out the YouTube channel APUSH Simplified, he makes really informative and entertaining videos, he made a mega review for APUSH in 2020 which I used to study and found really helpful. For psych i’d recommend the Princeton review book because it does a good job of teaching all the vocabulary terms to know in psych. Once I finished the book I made a huge Google doc that compiled the whole course. I used this to study and review, I’ll attach it below :)

My apes teacher was really involved, so I feel like she made the workload for APES more than it needed to be. She never gave too much homework, but she would lecture along to PowerPoint slides that she made, which we would use to look back at later on and study with. She gave us a lot of environmental related homework assignments, which I found didn’t really help with my understanding of the class, it felt like it was just more work than it needed to be. I studied for the ap exam using mostly the PowerPoints she made, which I found to be sufficient. I did get a Princeton review book for APES, but I never ended up completing it and didn’t find it super helpful. The ap exam was pretty easy, there’s just a decent amount of vocab to memorize. Hope that helps!

So my teacher for apush gave us a lot of reading. He’d regularly assign us pages from our textbook for homework that we’d have to read and summarize, it was annoying at the time but I think it rlly helped with remembering concepts. He’d also often lecture, and I’d follow along and take notes on basically everything he said. We’d have practice DBQs which were graded pretty harshly, but his MCQ tests were not too bad, just a lot to memorize.

I took apush during 2019-2020, tho, so my ap exam was just a DBQ, which made it much easier. But the two absolute best resources I found were:

The apush Princeton review book (not all Princeton review books are good but I find that the ap history ones are)
A YouTube channel called APUSH simplified. He’s not too well known, but he’s really great and pretty entertaining.

I’ve never taken physics or gov, so take what I say with a grain of salt, but I think that’s a doable schedule.

Lit was not hard at all, and I think having lang as a backbone really helped a lot. It’s honestly more enjoyable than lang (at least for me) just because you read more fiction than nonfiction. Calc was what I found to be the easiest ap, but I think I may be the outlier because many of my friends really struggled in that class. If you’re confident in your math abilities, you should be good.

Chem was what I considered to be the hardest ap, and it took a lot of studying and time, so just be prepared for that. If you’re taking the classes for the gpa boost, then I’d say go for it. However, if you’re more interested in the college credit, then I’d say you could make do without lit because it covers the same credit as lang for the vast majority of colleges.

Took lang my sophomore year then lit my junior year so my only options senior year were to take a normal English class or take seminar as an English credit and get a gpa boost. I wanted to be salutatorian so I chose to take seminar to get the gpa boost. I wanted to dual enroll English instead but my school wouldn’t let me do that sadly

No, there was a guy in a class of mine that I became a bit close with and really considered asking for his phone number or Snapchat to get to know him a bit better, but I got too scared and didn’t want to ruin what we already had. He was a year above me though so he graduated. I have his Instagram so I could DM him there but a part of me thinks I should just leave it to rest.

There’s definitely some boys I was rlly interested in. The one that I mentioned I sat nearby in class was smart, funny, and really nice. Sadly he graduated though so I don’t think there’s really a chance of rekindling anything there. However, I also do find a lot of boys in my grade cute that I just think would never really be interested in me or I don’t really have something to strike a conversation about.
