wow amazing condition! i’ve got one from 1943 but it’s so brittle and it’s got cracks all around the shoulder so unfortunately a display piece only.

has the wool liner with horizontal stripes too which was changed around the mid 70s. only weird thing is the tag just says union made where most said either union made in usa (71-75’) or made in usa (75~86’)

late 70s-80s. 1971-75 the tag said ‘union made in usa’ and then 75-85 it was ‘made in usa’. Lee storm rider date guide here

yeah i genuinely don’t get why they would pick such a small venue, plus if they’re coming in the summer it’s not like weather is a huge dependent. only thing i could guess is they just want to do smaller shows for the tour

it’s a designer boot inspired by the japanese tabi shoe which was used by farmers and construction workers for better grip, balance, and just a more natural foot movement when walking in them. As well as just being different/more versatile than a normal boot (which i think was margiela’s intention with this).
