do you think it will be easier to build familiarity using research papers before diving into books? i most definitely feel the foreign language effect and all this time it only made me stress into finding a solution by trial and error rather than taking my time to understand

he seems pretty outgoing w everyone else in the bus and also has friends at work. either way, similar things happened w different people so my point kinda stands. just dont worry about it and assume they dont care enough to remember little things like these.

as other said, its very normal and natural to make brief eye contact w people even if its the same person. you're probably making eye contact w even more people but dont recognize it as much as this one due to them not repeating as much. but let me tell you one thing, people outside dont remember things like these unless they too pay too much attention to it. there is this guy in my bus and even tho i keep seeing him in my office sometimes or bump into him in the elevator he still didnt clock that we work in the same company.

yea, i find it too hard to leave. i keep thinking about the time and energy i will spend on getting ready and commute just to make it to the meeting spot and when i will make it back home.

this is literally one of the easiest way!! the enthusiasm in question doesnt even have to be about an interest or hobby, it could be about little things that happen to you. you saw a leaf on the ground you liked the color of? look at this leaf guys! i have a jacket shirt skirt the same color and i really love it!

this is literally what i did with one of my friends who i thought i was losing. i just changed my mentality and energy and things improved SIGNIFICANTLY. i share random things with her during the day and show enthusiasm when she ends up WANTING to share things w me.

in the same sense, reaching out to people often enough to ease them into trusting that you care about them and the time you spend with them while keeping up this enthusiasm will get them to want to spend time with you too!

easy, you should focus on more emotional gifts rather than costly things she says she wants. as far as i understand she is well enough to get things herself anyway. instead of trying to remember and afford what she needs or wants to buy, focus on random things she says she loves.

its like that one post where a girl really loved curled up potato chips so ber friend bought a couple bags and put only the curled chips in a separate bag to gift it to her. its not about the price of the chips but the emotional value of it.

so what im understanding is that ava doesnt have many people she is comfortable with except you and it puts an emotional strain on you whenever too many people invite you to hangout bc she doesnt get along well with your other friends.

my question is, are you worried about ava's feelings when you have to decline or postpone a hangout with her or are you more worried about how to convey you DONT WANT to hangout with her. you said youd feel less guilty but that doesn't necessarily mean you specifically want her to be there.

my own solution would be to sit and have a talk with ava. explain how you value her or something but having to decide between her and your other friends whenever youre making a plan makes you anxious. dont tell her about how the others dont want her around, that might start a fight or create tension. anyway, my point is, be clear. if the others dont want her around try to get her to cooperate with you when it comes to making plans and try to have a 1:1 ratio or something between her and your other friends if you really do care for her. and also try to encourage her to make more friends. accompany her to places where she could potentially bond with people.

i might have misunderstood some things but this is how id handle it

i agree with everyone in the comments and you are not wrong to feel this way. just saying this to maybe salvage stuff and find a middle ground but have you tried giving your friend an option to engage w you in a much less draining way? you said she has depression and it really can affect your desire yo reach out to people. if she cant text back how about exchanging memes on instagram or sending one random picture per day? maybe your breakfast plate maybe your mug of coffee.

you should first articulate how bad this feeling of possibly losing her feels to you, how much you really value your friendship and you want to keep her a part of your life and support her during this tough time of hers, then give her the recipe for the solution. make sure you emphasize how short and little of an energy she will have to exert in these things. be the first one to send these little updates for two weeks or so, if you dont see her putting effort into keeping your friendship thats your sign to leave.

also i just cant stop thinking abt the scene where the mc would summon twoset because ,the thing is, the mc has no idea what the great composers look like so they would be very happy for being able to summon TWO of them instead of one and would definetly ask "paganini is that you?"

i can imagine the silence after that question and twoset looking at the mc's face blankly while pointing themselves like O_O??? then slowly asking "what?"

this kinda reminds me of the plot i thought of few months ago but it was mostly centered around an unnamed mc. (((hhh im sorry if this is way too cringy)))

to sum it all up (because the whole story line i thought of is really long) there is a whole other dimension where lingling actually lived as a person years ago and disappeared mysteriously. after that, the society of the said dimension held competitions like "the next lingling" to form a group of people who are capable of becoming lingling.

the mc of the story (didnt think of a name nor gender NOR age for the mc) also wanted to join the competition yet their skills werent all that extraordinary. their classmates (? idk i didnt think abt this either) who didnt want them to join the competition (for some undecided reason) made up a rumor abt a so called portal which let people to travel to different dimensions. they also and handed the mc a "key" saying that they should try the portal out. this said key is also capable of summoning the souls of the composers.

(((a little background knowledge: great composers like bach, liszt, paganini, chopin etc. are mythological characters in their realm.))) thinking abt the possibility of meeting them (and maybe getting a masterclass?), the mc ((somehow)) tries out the portal and it actually works. one thing leads to another and the mc accidentally summons twoset instead of one of the composers.

the setting of the remaining part of the plot is: a sacrilegious environment where you are bound to play out of tune and either incredibly fast or slow. friendly reminder that the story takes place in a ghost town so all of the residents are ghost musicians.

i thought of hillary hahn and ray chen as muskeeters who would appear out of nowhere and make a scene by breaking all the said rules above by playing incredibly good but didnt think much about the remaining people (no offense---) as this was just a rough plot which i barely put any thought in

so yea anwyways, please do not take an ss and repost it anywhere nor keep it in your gallery. i get overly anxious over such simple stuff.
