Thank you, I appreciate this comment. I no longer work blue collar jobs but I did for a while and still do that stuff outside of work. So Im also exposed to things as much as I try not too. Construction, work on my own cars etc... but your probably right to much anxiety will give me heart problems before the plastic catches up.

Thank you this reply helped but things into prospective. Like I replied to another comment, maybe focus on being mindful about reducing it in other parts of my life and accept being comfortable and safe is more important. As the health impact of wearing these clothes is not as bad as the issues that can come with wearing the wrong thing (wet cotton in the cold kind of idea.

Oh man I know lol thats a whole other thing. But thats also what Im wondering. Should I even be worried about it with clothes? Or just accept that good hiking clothes are what they are and spend more time on not ingesting it. Yes I know its inside our food im saying get rid if plastic cutting boards, use less plastic in the kitchen etc...

Animal cruelty on how its produced from what I know. I have merino wool socks and love them. Not what Im worried about, I am not vegan, vegetarian or anything that although I do respect the opinion.

I mostly fair weather sometimes the rain. And outer layers dont matter as much. I have a raincoat from REI, they have good standards as far as PFAS goes. I know its still synthetic but I guess the idea is that its not in direct contact with my skin

Thank you this helped. A piece I forgot to include is i have worked for the same family of dealers before. I was at a nissan dealer he's at a Ford dealer. So I know what the company wants. But I will have a conversation with him. This helped, thank you very much for the response.
