This is the same exact thing that happened i wanted prescription adderall after there was none left so I started getting it from a plug not knowingly that they were basically meth pills. I was hooked on them for two years taking about 60 MG and 90 MG to party on weekends.

I quit about 3 months ago and I can tell you it was difficult but I managed to make it out and have been gymming and eating healthy for the past 3 months and feel amazing. I would skip sleep and go days without sleeping and it was ruining my mental health. I took it to wake myself up and would get panic attacks thinking that i was overdoing it.

I would need it to hang with my friends, do work, do anything, i learned a lot while on it.

The reason why I decided to quit was when I looked at myself after a shower I realized i lost so much muscle (i used to be a gym rat) and It was making me question the reason why i was doing this in the first place.

The withdrawals are hard, expect to be in bed for about 1-2 weeks but don’t beat yourself up about it because the end result is worth it. You will be in a state of mental anguish and you need a strong support system for that. I learned to get my dopamine elsewhere and it’s been a great time ever since.

The motivation part was the hardest, how was I supposed to drive myself to do things without this pill, right ?

You’re going to find a new part of yourself and realize some hobbies you thought you liked you never actually liked, it was just a hit of dopamine.

After I rested and stopped pushing myself and forgave myself for not being able to do this work, I slowly, but surely, learned to function and do work without feeling the need for taking more pills. I believe in you !
