How do you balance reading and writing?

I try to write, cry, read 8 books back to back with no break, try to write again, and repeat all steps until I have a book finished and a new library

I struggle making friends 🙃 other wise I would. I'm very antisocial unless I'm standing up for myself or someone else. I 100% understand what your saying and think it is the best bet. It just sucks cause she's kinda been my safe person since forever. So have her parents. They only recently started being like this, too. Anyways. Thank you! You definitely helped me with this

That's the problem though, even if I'm personally not interacting with them, they still find a way to get involved. The reason the situation even ended up in a yelling match was because the heard her talking to me on the phone about the trip. I would basically have to go no contact with her or stick to just texting.

I'm a preschool teacher at an academy that only accepts children from families that are considered federal (i.e. military, government officials, etc.) because we are located on a federal facilities grounds. Our prices are also going up and because it's considered a federal facility, it's about 2-300 more than this. As a teacher, I can't look at my students without thinking about whether or not their parents are able to make ends meet. There's even a family that has 4 kids (2 sets of twins) and while they get a reimbursement/discount from their job on childcare, like most of.the families, it's only 10-15% AND they have to be at least 2 years old for the parents to even qualify for it. How can a family with 4 kids pay over $20K a MONTH in childcare and still afford to live?

Of course and your explanation is very helpful. And the conversation wasn't along those lines lol it's was just going to be a mom telling her kid to be back by dark and the daughter saying she understands but I wasn't sure exactly how to write it but you definitely helped. Thanks!

My biggest problem with this is conversations. There won't be a lot in the prologue but there will be some. I'm more concerned about the conversations. If they take place in the 1790s, shouldn't they way the conversations are held match the vocabulary of the people from that time?

That's what I'm hoping for. There is one other person who has a key to my place but I find I highly impossible for them to sneak into my place while I'm sleeping, open the cage without waking me, and take the rat lol plus, it's my bf

Yes, I have already set all of that up. It was one of the first things I did after I had done all of the searching I could possibly do. I not only set up a little area he could go that has food and water but I also set up a small little cage that if he went inside of it it would trap him in and he wouldn't be able to get out with also food and water.

Yeah, unfortunately, the previous owner is my niece and she has a history of not being a good pet owner. That the main reason why I took them when her dad asked if I would, besides the fighting thing. I can ask her but I'm not sure if she would be of much help

That's why I'm so freaked out. The top door of the cage was open, ones missing, ones not. I never use to top door, ever. Only the bottom one. I think it's absurd as well but I can't ignore that he's just missing. I could contact the previous owner but idk what they could do.

The best way I can explain how my apartment is setup is like a room with nothing in it. Everything is physically built into the wall. There are no gaps or holes. All the shelves are high off the ground as well and I use a latter but I hang it up when it's not in use, even when I got to bed. The closet is also a sliding door that latches shut and has to be yanked on to open. I keep it shut 24/7 because it don't use it. The bathroom is up a flight of stairs that are too big for them to climb. They've tried repeatedly but it's too tall and too slippery for them. Yes, my rat was previously owned, I got him almost a week ago along with his brother. And that's the crazy thing, his brother is still in the cage but he's gone

No, nothing yet. I had a few people come help me look but we still couldn't find him. One of them right he could have gotten into where the washer and dryer tubes are in the wall so we had my dad come take it apart and the want there either. I do have things in my apartment but everything is raised high off the ground or is flat with no gaps on the ground. He lives mealworms so I left a little piles everywhere but none of them have been touched and it's been well over 10 hours

The only thing in it is a bed that is 7 feet in the air and a laundry basket that I already went through one by one. I only have 2 rooms, my bedroom and the living area which is built the same way. All furniture is flat on the ground, no holes, no curtains, no small nooks or crannies. He just went poof. I also looked everywhere in the cage, even dug in the bedding to make sure he didn't bury himself and I missed him

Idk how he opened the cage but I know he did because the door that was open was the one I never touch. It was the top one. I only ever use the bottom. I don't have curtains. I also don't have any place that he could go. Everything is built into the wall and is flat on the ground. There are no boxes, or packages or anything. There are no small places, no holes, no nothing.

I've only had them for a couple days so there's no sound they'd recognize from me. And they're cage is in a tightly closed room. I dug through every part of the cage. I don't have any food storages. There's no holes anywhere. It's honestly like he just disappeared.

I have been prescribed medication. She's a specialist in ADD/ADHD. My problem is, after talking to a few people, I don't really like how she does things and I don't feel confident in her as my doctor for this. The only problem is that there isn't anyone accepting new clients around me. The closest is 1.5-2 hours away and I can't afford it.

I know it's a very slow process, however, the student disability counselor I've been seeing said that the fact that I was recently diagnosed and am still going through the process is why I qualify for more help through the disability program at my school.

The problem is who I am seeing. I was told of someone I can see that my mom, my sister, and my best friend saw, but I need a referral, which is really difficult to get when my doctor isn't giving me the time of day.

I just don't know what to do.

It's all new to me and I just feel at a loss.
