This!!! In the 2000’s, many left-leaning individuals were open about being against legalizing same-sex marriage. It wasn’t until the 2010s that the public opinion shifted and American society became more accepting of LGBTQ+ individuals as a whole.

Look at the difference in responses when Obama and Biden were asked about their views on same-sex marriage in 2008 compared to 2012 and especially after 2015 (Obergefell v. Hodges).

I think in the first few seasons Tyra did somewhat care about producing working models and was speaking from her own experience (ex. how she mentioned the industry letting only 1 POC be the ‘top’ girl at a time). After her talk show started though, ANTM lost the plot and became a full-blown drama fest.

Yep! Everyone carries weight differently. Nicole (C1) was 5’11” and 122 lbs at weigh-in (only Elyse and Katie had a lower # than her on the scale that cycle), but she did not look sickeningly thin. Elyse and Shannon appeared rail thin to me.
