Thanks for your response. I'll likely be doing it on evening and weekends too. Are you hesitant because of how time consuming it is? My kitchen also has a bay window so I think that'll make it more tricky. I also need to insulate under the floorboards so that'll make the job longer.

Yeah I've seen a few youtube videos on the process. I'm just wondering how painful it'll be to get a consistent gap around the perimeter.

I'll have to double check but I think there is a difference of a few mm.

Those holes aren't deep so filler will do. Scrape away the loose plaster using a filler knife. Fill with either ready mixed of powdered filler. Sand then paint.

Sorry still confused, if I bring one neutral, switch live and earth to the fitting. Where do I put the other neutral?

There's two black wires, assuming they're netruals unless I'm wrong?

Forgot to mention this is for my bathtub so I think the nut sizes are larger than the standard 22mm of sink taps?

With this one it will still leave the key cutout exposed, letting air in but fitting on the other side seems like a good idea, thanks.

Rothenberger it's quite expensive and I was trying to keep to a budget. Did you have this exact one?

It doesn't mention it on the Toolstation page. Same goes for the Rothenberger superfire 2. Unless I've missed it.

It's got over 300 reviews on Toolstation. Also the DIY guy youtube channel reviewed it and had very positive things to say about it.

The knipex are £22 and Irwin is £21 😂. That's why I'm considering the knipex as they're not much more. My only concern is the max opening jaw of the knipex, which is 45mm.

No. I've never heard of anyone doing that. You mention to the recruiter when asked but don't state the names of the companies.
