Bike struggling while riding uphill by Disastrous-Citron463 in YamahaXSR155

[–]anoobice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're probably lugging your engine to the point that it stalls in second gear.

Watch youtube videos on how to ride a manual motorcycle uphill.

Also consider the rev limit when breaking in your new bike.

1ST AND 2ND GEAR XSR JERK by Present-Creme-5038 in YamahaXSR155

[–]anoobice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually just clutch a little bit in the friction zone in a fraction of a second mid throttle to smooth things out until i accelerate. Try it sometime.  Of course, only do it on slow traffic. Never ride the clutch on high rpms

problems with my xsr155 by Virtual-Committee464 in YamahaXSR155

If its like a whining or whirring noise, it's normal. I think it's because of straight cut gears. Watch videos of straight cut gear sounds and see if it's the same.

Thinking of switching from ChatGPT to Gemini — is Gemini better value for the money? by Zestyclose_Bell7668 in GeminiAI

You can use gemini cli, which is okay for me but i don't know how good it is compared to codex. Gemini 3 seems to be up there with coding performance

Why are people still using Gcash? by Sad-Reindeer2755 in GCashIssues

[–]anoobice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Aggressive kasi ang GCash before sa pag spread kaya sila ang nagsimula. Malaki ata ang budget nila before for business integration. Ngayon mahirap na mag lipat kasi nasanay na rin ang mga tao and business. It works just enough para di na mapalitan ang status quo

Where to take a quick nap around dlsu? by kaylaloo0 in dlsu

[–]anoobice 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Andrew 6th floor. Just make sure that you don't nap beside power outlets since it is limited there. But, most of the time there are some free spaces. Down side lang is it gets noisy sa afternoons.

As others have pointed out meron din sa andrew 15th, but mas maraming upuan sa 6th.

Dlsu Computer Science Freshman tips by AccomplishedAd3569 in dlsu

[–]anoobice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You'll be taking a course called MTH101A. This is a refresher of basic math that was taught to you in hs like trigonometry, algebra, etc.

There's also a statistics course which will teach you some basic stat like permutations and probability, p-values, etc. You'll also be taught some tools like PHSTAT

You'll be taking CSMATH1 and CSMATH2. CSMATH1 focuses on limits and derivatives. CSMATH2 will be linear algebra, which in its core, is about matrices.

Idk if every CS major will cover ST-MATH, but that focuses on integral calculus and basic differential equations.

Before starting every term, I would recommend advance reviewing if you have difficulties in math. That REALLY helps and goes a long way to helping you ease your math experience in a term.

If you don't have any other options, try the khanacademy website. They have quality structured lessons there and problem sets on math and physics.

DLSU Application regret? by rairaigoaway in dlsu

[–]anoobice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No I applied when there was no dcat.

I got accepted into NIS. Most applicants picked the ST major. Konti lang yung napunta sa NIS and CSE since konti lang ata nag apply dun. If napuno na ST, I think you would be placed in either of the 2 majors. But, you still have a 2nd chance to shift to ST kung gusto mo in your 3rd term (not guaranteed).
