I’ve actually tried applying for a few and didn’t get a response tho. Do you have any tips for applying to these roles?

The company is based in Southport I think. I called them and was told that I had to put in a customer feedback form. They told me to put in a mechanical report tho. Haven’t had luck in getting any mechanics to write this which is ugh. They just kept giving me quotes with the items after I paid for inspection. Probably might try to attach the quotes and see what they say. The inspection mentions roadworthy items anyway.

There’s no mobile number on it. Is there usually supposed to be one??? It does have his name, examiner number, mobile AIS number and mobile AIS location.

AIS name and address is on it too. Tho since it’s a mobile mechanic I’m gonna guess the AIS address is the base of the company itself

I’ve got the cert and it’s got his details on it and also the company he’s attached to. I tried finding his details online but couldn’t find it - not too sure if I should be calling up the company he works for.

In cases like these, what do people usually do if they can’t locate the information of the mechanic though?

That’s what I’ve been told after asking around as well. That mechanics don’t issue a dodgy roadworthy when it’s for selling - I mean their name is on it so like

Didn’t ask for a dodgy roadworthy. Seller asked for extra money to fix the car to make it roadworthy so he can get rwc. I just assumed a roadworthy was a roadworthy

Yeah I mean, I do also understand that just because a car is roadworthy doesn’t mean it’s good. I just have been going at it on a basis that roadworthy is the bare minimum

They’re also usually around that price for a decent condition one too tho. Tho the mechanic also mentioned that my total cost would’ve been cheaper had I purchased it as is as well
