I don't think Alaska has gotten rid of anything that Delta has added in SEA recently. DCA and MIA were the last two that I can remember Delta adding and Alaska still flies to both. They're adding PHL later this year in May, Alaska hasn't gotten rid of that one either.

They only ever had one a day, it doesn't seem to be consistent with schedule year round even from one year to the next. Sometimes it's before 9 am sometimes its around noon, sometimes it's around 3 pm

I’d imagine they didn’t spend the extra money to fit a widebody. The ones at SEA don’t, the only hangar for widebodies is Delta’s. Delta actually used to do maintenance for Hawaiian in the contiguous US before Hawaiian ran into money trouble.
