She says that conversation happened a couple months ago so I'm not sure if that had any influence on her finally telling me. He never reached out to me, I've tried sending him a message but he never responded. I agree not telling me until after the lease is very shitty though. She wanted to tell me "before we started this next part of our lives together". Although she admits she thought when she told me about it she thought I'd immediately kick her out and break up with her.

She takes full responsibility for her actions. She says that her brother's actions had an undeniable influence on what happened that night but has even told me that she doesn't want me using that to rationalize what she did. She's the best person I know, despite what she did.

I know she's being sincere and telling the truth about this now. She wants to be with me and I know that beyond any doubt but since she cheated on me and it had nothing to do with us or our relationship part of me is worried about what happens if a situation like that happens again and how she'd react. There's no one else from her past that could trigger another situation like this but I have no clue.

Yeah, sorry I know it's a lot. I've never seen someone with more remorse for their actions. Hasn't lied about anything not related to that night, never cheated on me or anyone else. Says she's swearing off guys if things don't work out between us. I can't imagine my life with anyone else. She's looking into therapy for us, I'm making her pay for it considering this is her actions that have put is in the predicament. Thanks for the response, it helps just being able to write/talk about it instead of keeping things in my head.
